Biography

    • Diego Bertelli (Pietrasanta, 1977) is an Italian poet, translator, editor and scholar. His poems, articles and essays on twentieth-century Italian literature have appeared in various International and Italian literary journal, magazines and litblogs, such as Modern Languge Notes (MLN), Italian Poetry Review (IPR), Forum Italicum, Paragone, La rassegna della letteratura italiana, Minimaetmoralia, Nazione indiana, Niederngasse, and Leparoleelecose (LPLC). His most recent publications include the annotated edition of Bartolo Cattafi, Tutte le poesie (Le lettere, 2019), the introduction to Piero Ciampi, 53 poesie (Lamantica, 2021), and the translation of Frances Scott Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby (Tunué, 2021). He is part of the editorial board of The Florentine Literary Review (TheFLR) and co-director of the poetry series novecento/duemila for the Editore Le Lettere, Firenze.
