A Montana native and proud military veteran with combat deployments to Kosovo, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Travis Elliston has worked in the horse industry in a variety of roles - horse trainer, teacher of horsemanship, livestock packing, farrier, ranch hand, feedlot cowboy, working cowboy, and horse clinician traveling to Europe. He was a horsemanship coach with the United States Air Force Academy rodeo team. Travis also worked as the trainer for B Troop, 4th Cavalry Regiment (Memorial) at Fort Huachuca. He has been a Horse Marshal for the Tucson Rodeo Parade and a Mounted Arizona Ranger.
Travis was urged to get into acting by his friend Jesse Bell (famous horse wrangler), who skillfully incorporates his horsemanship knowledge into his series and future film projects as a stunt double and actor. He works for many charities; he is proud of his work as a founding member of Remount Germany, a service organization for equine-assisted learning for the military, veterans, law enforcement, emergency services, and their families.
He currently lives in Southern Arizona when not filming.
