Abhijeet Bannerjie

Abhijeet Bannerjie, also known as Joy Banerjee, is an Indian actor and former model based in Mumbai. He began his artistic journey in theatre before transitioning to screen, working in film, web series, and over 140 national TV commercials. He made his film debut in Mumbai Cutting, directed by Padma Bhushan Jahnu Barua. Abhijeet earned acclaim for his performance in the web series Surajya Sanhita, where he portrayed Lakshman and Arjun, under the direction of Padma Shri Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi. A native of Lucknow, he holds a Master's degree in English Literature and belongs to a Bengali Brahmin family with strong ties to the arts and All India Radio.
