Exclusive: Rowan Blanchard has joined the series regular cast of Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale sequel series The Testaments, sources confirm to Deadline. She joins the previously announced leads, Chase Infiniti, Lucy Halliday and Ann Dowd, who returns as her original character, Aunt Lydia.

Blanchard stars as Shunammite, a pampered teen from a prominent Gilead family whose status affords her a certain level of respect and power amongst her peers.

The Handmaid’s Tale and The Testaments are based on the novel by Margaret Atwood. Like the mothership series, the sequel is created by Bruce Miller, who serves as showrunner and executive producer.

As of the second episode of Mayfair Witches season 2, the new season seems to be missing a structure to the story it’s trying to tell. Threads are going every which way haphazardly. And if I’m being completely honest, the style’s been pretty lackluster as well. Now, it might totally be my bias towards this show I love that’s making me hope they’ve got a plan for the episodes to come. And by that, I mean that I’m sincerely hoping for things to fall in place in a way that’ll draw us into this new struggle that Rowan’s motherhood seems to be. Mayfair Witches season 2 premiere is confirmed for 2025 with an intriguing teaser. The season 1 finale hints at Rowan's evolving powers and introduces new characters. Season 2 will add new characters, including Rowan's ex-boyfriend.

AMC confirms the release window for Mayfair Witches season 2, as the supernatural drama extends Anne Rice's universe. The second television show set in the shared Immortal Universe, based on Rice's novels, Mayfair Witches premiered after 2022's Interview with the Vampire. It stars Alexandra Daddario as Dr. Rowan Fielding, a neurosurgeon who learns she is connected to a powerful family of witches. With a cast including Tongayi Chirisa, Jack Huston, and Harry Hamlin, Mayfair Witches season 2 was renewed in February 2023.

A new teaser shared by AMC's Immortal Universe on social media, confirms that Mayfair Witches season 2 will premiere in 2025. An exact date has not yet been announced.

Jamie Reid, the artist and graphic designer whose work for the Sex Pistols defined the punk aesthetic, has died at 76.

His gallerist, John Marchant, confirmed his death. In a statement, he was described as an “artist, iconoclast, anarchist, punk, hippie, rebel and romantic. Jamie leaves behind a beloved daughter Rowan, a granddaughter Rose, and an enormous legacy.”

Claire Danes and Hugh Dancy have welcomed their third child together, a baby girl whose name has not yet been announced.

They were spotted pushing a stroller while they were out for a walk in New York City.

Last month, the couple attended the Tribeca Flim Festival, where the expectant parents showed off Danes’ baby bump.

Danes briefly spoke about their third baby when she attended the Golden Globe Awards in January earlier this year.

“This one was not intentional,” she told Mario Lopez for Access Hollywood.

Although the third baby was seemingly unplanned, Danes said she and her husband were “thrilled” and “excited.” When asked about the gender, Danes exclaimed that they didn’t know yet and were “rolling the dice.”

Danes and Dancy have two other children: Cyrus, 10, and Rowan, 4.
