Ashley Daubert(II)

Hello! My name is Ashley Daubert, I am a professional Makeup Artist based in Atlanta, GA, however my career took root in my hometown, Miami Florida, I earned my certification in Master Makeup Artistry in 2020 and shortly after that took off to Georgia to pursue furthermore opportunities in the makeup industry. Home for me is where the art is, there is something so unique about having the knowledge & skills to create an idea or character and make it come to life, while majority of people may lean towards beauty as the first idea when they hear "Makeup Artist." my first thought is Dick Smith, known as the God Father of makeup, he was best known for his stunning special FX work for some of the greatest films of all time, which leads me to this! While I have an excitement for all areas of makeup, my go to is Special Fx, from sculpting monsters and wounds to applying detailed prosthetics and making blood, airbrushing on talents and models, creating a killer 3rd degree burn, etc.! These examples are just the few of why this industry made me change my life around and pursue my dreams. Fun fact! I was in college for a couple years working towards med school, now I am a professional artist creating decayed bodies, monsters and zombies! it's truly a blast but with that being said, I take professionalism very seriously, what makes me a professional artist? I am reliable, resilient, detail oriented, eligible to adapt to all changes during projects and charismatic! Any talent, model or clientele who is in my chair I fully believe it is my responsibility to make them feel as comfortable as possible, to make them feel safe and that they have an enjoyable experience. I take my career with great pride and feel very privileged to work on set with great people, be in the lab with such creative artists or just have a client in my chair.
