- Born in Australia, Loretta Walsh is an award nominated actor and has been a professional performer for over 20 years. Her first professional job was as a ballet dancer in a production of "Carmen" with the Queensland Ballet Company. Since then, she has appeared in over 30 projects on screen and is most well known for her 9 seasons on the Hallmark series When Calls the Heart. A classically trained actor, Loretta is also the founder of theatre company Kindred Entertainment and has starred in over 30 plays including: Dinner with Friends, Lobby Hero, Sex with Strangers, THIS, Either We Talk or We Don't Talk, White Hot, Othello and Hamlet.
