Colin Francis Hives was born in Liverpool, United Kingdom in December
1968. He started making short films in the late 80s and has continued
to make short, mid length and feature films ever since. His first
feature, Jimmy Wilde, was shown at the Woolton Picture House, Liverpool
in 2009. He and his production company, Shivilenco Pictures, are
currently working on a number of short and feature films as well as the
online series "The Adventures of Mo & Cath.
