Dan Kamin
Dan Kamin was born in New York City and grew up in Miami, Florida. After attending Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh Kamin began touring as a comic mime throughout the U.S. He is the author of "Charlie Chaplin's One-Man Show" (1984, 1991) and "The Comedy of Charlie Chaplin: Artistry in Motion" (2008, 2010). On film, he created the physical comedy sequences for "Chaplin" and "Benny and Joon" and trained Robert Downey, Jr. and Johnny Depp for their acclaimed starring performances. He also played "Old Chief Wood'nhead," the wooden Indian that came to life in the cult classic "Creepshow 2," and created the Martian girl's weird movement for Tim Burton's horror spoof "Mars Attacks!" Dan performs his one-man shows internationally, and is a frequent guest artist with symphony orchestras, combining comedy, movement and classical music in his popular series of "Comedy Concertos." Born: New York City
