Selma Blair is set to take the lead in upcoming supernatural thriller “Silent” from filmmaking duo Doron and Yoaz Paz.

The film, being produced by Roundtable Entertainment and Templeheart Films, has been launched by Architect ahead of EFM. Architect rep worldwide sales and are co-representing North American rights with Roundtable. Production is due to start in Vancouver this summer.

Deadline reports that filming has wrapped on a shark thriller called The Bay, which stars Francesca Eastwood (Old) alongside Dani Oliveros (Outbreak), Alexander Wraith (Naomi), and Ta’imua (It’s Not How It Sounds). Architect is handling international sales and is co-representing North American rights with Roundtable, and they will be presenting the project to potential buyers at the European Film Market this month.

The seventh and final installment of the late George A. Romero's Night of the Living Dead franchise is currently in the works, and we've just learned of some new cast additions to this upcoming zombie film.

The movie is titled Twilight of the Dead, and talented actresses Milla Jovovich and Betty Gabriel have been revealed to have joined the cast. Jovovich is best known for starring in the leading role of Alice in the action-horror film franchise Resident Evil. Her most recent role was playing Tess in the sci-fi thriller Breathe. Some of her next projects other than Twilight of the Dead are the upcoming movies In the Lost Lands, Midnight and World Breaker.

Gabriel, on the other hand, is known for portraying Georgina in the smash-hit psychological horror film Get Out. She also starred in many other horror films, such as The Purge: Election Year, Unfriended: Dark Web and It Lives Inside.

After leading a series of films for the Resident Evil franchise, Milla Jovovich will be revisiting the world of zombie horror. She's one of two casting additions revealed for Twilight of the Dead, a new film set in George A. Romero's Living Dead franchise.

Per Deadline, Jovovich and Betty Gabriel (Get Out) have officially joined the cast of Twilight of the Dead. The film is considered to be the "seventh and final installment" of Romero's movie series that began with 1969's Night of the Living Dead. Romero, who died in 2017 at age 77 after battling lung cancer, wrote a treatment for film “Twilight of the Dead” before passing away. Per Romero’s estate, the film is the “seventh and final installment” in the “Living Dead” franchise. The project was first revealed in 2021, but Deadline reported that newly relaunched Roundtable Entertainment is now moving forward with production and applying for a SAG-AFTRA waiver amid the strike for a slated late 2023 start date. The waiver would allow production to happen in spite of SAG-AFTRA work stoppage orders.

Romero’s widow Suzanne Romero, who will produce the film, said in a statement, “I’m delighted to be joining forces with Roundtable to bring the eerie evolution of Romero’s universe to the screen. Roundtable impressed me with their long-term and deep love of George’s work.
