Biography

Frank Mahindaratne was born in Colombo, Sri Lanka in 1984. In January of 1993, he emigrated to the United States with his parents, where at a young age, he discovered a love for writing and storytelling.

Growing up in various heavily-populated metropolitan cities like Houston and San Antonio, Texas, he endured a lot of experiences of the Big City Life, and many of those experiences are revealed in his writing.

An unabated Creative, he is known for being a multi-faceted artist in the writing spectrum, with a versatile capacity to write stories across multiple genres.

His most recent feature film, Lives of Wolves, made history in the Brazos Valley, selling out 4 theaters consecutively and making headlines in the news circuit. Lives of Wolves was independently produced by Preston Flores of GK Films and was directed by Juan Telsede. It stars Mell Bowser, Melissa Blanco, Frankie Galvez, and an entire cast of talented actors and actresses who brought the Urban Drama to life.

His current projects that are in pre-production include several short films, including The Pendant, a Horror Suspense, and a TV Limited Series, Karma, an Urban Crime Drama.

He resides with his wife Crystal and their children in Bryan, Texas.
