The 19th Seiyu Awards, which took place on March 15, 2025, in Tokyo, honored the most outstanding talents of the past year.

Toshihiko Seki (Birth of Kitaro: The Mystery of GeGeGe) and Miho Okasaki (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime) were named Best Lead Voice Actors.

Seki, who voiced Kitaro’s father in the GeGeGe no Kitaro prequel film, expressed his gratitude, highlighting his collaboration with Hidenobu Kiuchi, who played Mizuki and won Best Supporting Voice Actor.

Crunchyroll Hits Play on 2024's Most Underrated Anime Movie From Spy x Family Studio

CloverWorks, the acclaimed Japanese animation studio behind fan-favorite hit series like Spy x Family, My Dress-Up Darling, Horimiya and many more, has a recent feature film in its catalog, now streaming exclusively on Crunchyroll.

Trapezium is a 95-minute anime drama movie and a bold new character study for the studio, generally known for producing more buoyant and serialized stories. Helping bring the feature film to life are anime talent such as director Masahiro Shinohara -- known for his work on Re:zero -Starting Life in Another World -- and veteran anime writer Yuko Kakihara, of Buddy Daddies and Blue Box fame, handling the screenplay.
