Black Panther singer and One Of Them Days star, Sza, is ready to take this whole acting thing a bit more seriously — super seriously, in fact. And considering she already has one foot in the door at Marvel thanks to her award-winning song with Kendrick Lamar, "All the Stars" from the 2018 film, we could see one particular "dream role" of hers becoming a reality. After all, she's already technically played a superhero once before (albeit for a State Farm commercial).
But while speaking to fellow singer/actress Jennifer Hudson on her eponymous daytime talk show, Sza revealed she'd love to tackle the origin story of Ororo Munroe — better known to comic book fans as Storm, a role originally inhabited by none other than Halle Berry (and more recently Alexandra Shipp). And you know what? We could totally see her pulling it off.

I worked alongside Dan Jeannotte all day Saturday at Stlv: Trek to Vegas and had a blast. For a while, Zack Snyder was building a cinematic universe for the Netflix streaming service that centered on his zombie movie Army of the Dead. The film was quickly followed by a prequel called Army of Thieves, a sequel called Planet of the Dead was being written, and an anime series called Army of the Dead: Lost Vegas was in the works. But Snyder has since shifted his focus over to building a multi-media universe around his Rebel Moon sci-fi movies – and The Wrap has revealed that Netflix “quietly canceled” plans for an Army of the Dead Universe.
In an article on the Rebel Moon films that features interviews with Snyder and his wife and producing partner Deborah Snyder, The Wrap mentions, “Army of the Dead, a movie the Snyders made for Netflix before Rebel Moon, had a similarly ambitious (universe/franchise) plan, with several sequels and spin-offs in the works,...

In the "Star Trek: Strange New Worlds" episode "As Astra per Aspera", Commander Chin-Riley (Rebecca Romijn) faces a court-martial for lying on her Starfleet Academy application. She claimed to be a human, but was, in fact, a genetically enhanced Illyrian. Thanks to the disastrous, long-ago Eugenics Wars, genetic tinkering is strictly verboten in the world of "Star Trek." As such, lying about your genes is a particularly grievous offense. Captain Pike (Anson Mount), wanting to help his first officer, seeks out the legal aid of Neera Ketoul (Yetide Badaki), an Illyrian defense lawyer who will be brave enough to stand up to Starfleet's prosecution. Ketoul was also a childhood friend of Chin-Riley, and they have some bad blood about the latter's need to hide here identity to join Starfleet.
Neera Ketoul is an interesting character for "Star Trek," as she has made it her job to make civil rights cases ... against the Federation.

Warning: Spoilers for Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 2, Episode 2 - "Ad Astra Per Aspera"Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 2, episode 2 takes its name from the Latin phrase "Ad Astra per Aspera", and it's a phrase that means a lot to Commander Una Chin-Riley (Rebecca Romijn). The episode places Una on trial for concealing her Illyrian heritage from Starfleet, in fear of the Federation's ban on genetic enhancements. The lack of cultural nuance in the Federation's ban is at the heart of a legal battle for both Una's freedom and her Starfleet career. Warning: Spoilers for Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 2, Episode 2, "Ad Astra Per Aspera"The origin of how Star Trek: Strange New Worlds' Captain Christopher Pike (Anson Mount) and Number One (Rebecca Romijn) met fascinatingly compares and contrasts to how Captain James T. After a rousing reunion for its Season 2 premiere, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds moves to resolve its shocking cliffhanger from the Season 1 finale in this season’s second episode. Titled "Ad Astra Per Aspera," the sophomore episode gives Rebecca Romijn her grandest showcase as Una Chin-Riley yet as the Enterprise's Number One faces a Starfleet Command tribunal. Though largely staged like a courtroom drama, the episode is no less gripping and effective than any of the more cosmic adventures that the Enterprise normally embarks on as part of their exploration of the final frontier.
After lying about her Illyrian heritage and the illegal genetic augmentations prevalent in her native culture, Chin-Riley faces a military tribunal, with the charges against her carrying steep consequences. It always comes back to Khan. Yes, even the latest episode of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, which finds Number One aka Commander Una Chin-Riley on trial for hiding her Illyrian heritage of genetic modification, and in the process violating the Federation’s restriction against augments. As made clear by Number One’s defense lawyer and fellow Illyrian Neera (Yetide Badaki), the ban seems to contradict the Federation’s central values, one that seeks (as the Vulcans put it) infinite diversity in infinite combinations.
In order to understand why the Federation restricts genetically modified individuals, one must take a look at one of the most infamous villains of the franchise: Khan Noonien Singh. Although Khan first appeared in the 1967 Original Series episode “Space Seed,” and then returned for the beloved 1982 movie Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, he has his roots in the 1990s.
