He has stated that he has no tension between him and Ryan Drummond (The original voice of Sonic the Hedgehog). However, they are both really good friends.

He was the official voice of Sonic the Hedgehog for SEGA for 7 years (2003-2010).

He based his Shadow the Hedgehog voice off of a former roommate, who is a writer that he described as always speaking intensely.

He has been a longtime Sonic the Hedgehog fan growing up and owns Sonic the Hedgehog (1991), Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (1992), Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (1993), Sonic & Knuckles (1994), Sonic CD (1992) and his favorite Sonic Unleashed (2008).

He was offered the role of Jet the Hawk for Sonic Riders (2006) without any auditioning. He stated that Jet the Hawk was a role that SEGA wanted him to do.

He originally moved to New York to study theatre before getting into acting.

In his spare time, he enjoys impersonating Elvis Presley's voice.

From 2020 to 2021, he reprised his role as Shadow the Hedgehog in the fan-made audio series Sonic and Tails R (2020).
