"Seinfeld" is one of the most influential sitcoms in television history, overcoming incredible odds after its pilot was hated by test audiences, and just barely received high-enough ratings to warrant a second season renewal. It took several years for the show to become the top of water cooler conversations across the country, but not only did its cultural rise pave the way for future comedy series like "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" and "Girls," but it also skyrocketed the careers of its stars, with Julia Louis-Dreyfus going on to be an 11-time Emmy winner for "The New Adventures of Old Christine" and "Veep," while co-creator Larry David's follow-up "Curb Your Enthusiasm" received critical acclaim for the two decades it was on.
Among the greatest accomplishments of "Seinfeld," however, was its ability to introduce new phrases and sayings into everyday usage, thanks to the combined observations of Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld.

A fun thing about old sitcoms is that you'll often watch it and casually stumble across an actor who's now probably too famous to play such a minor role. Long before he played the Dean on "Community," for instance, Jim Rash was freaking out about a plane's "left phalange" in the "Friends" finale. Before Joseph Gordon-Levitt became a major movie star in the late 2000s, he was on "That '70s Show" making the moves on Eric Foreman. If you're looking for the movie stars of tomorrow, you should first look at the minor sitcom roles of today.
"Seinfeld" was no exception. Jerry, Elaine and George were always dating someone new, which means there was a revolving door of guest stars who'd later become some of the most famous people on TV. This included a lot of "Breaking Bad" stars, like Bob Odenkirk (Aka Saul Goodman) as Elaine's not-yet-doctor boyfriend in...

Bryan Cranston is confirmed to be returning for a reboot of Malcolm in the Middle — but in the meantime, check out his other classic TV show, Breaking Bad. It was recently confirmed that a Malcolm in the Middle revival is in the works for Disney+. Cranston will reprise his role as Hal, Frankie Muniz will reprise his role as Malcolm, and Jane Kaczmarek will reprise her role as Lois. The reboot will consist of four new episodes, and it’ll see Hal and Lois demanding that Malcolm attend their 40th wedding anniversary party with his daughter.
It could be a while before the Malcolm in the Middle reboot finally streams on Disney+, but Cranston has plenty of other classic TV shows to watch during the wait. For starters, there are seven still-relevant seasons of the original Malcolm in the Middle series to binge-watch in time for the show’s continuation.

Frankie Muniz reveals his television father, Bryan Cranston, still keeps in touch with him to this very day. The duo starred as father and son for seven seasons on the beloved television series, Malcolm in the Middle (2000-2006). And Muniz, who was recently signed as a racer for NASCAR’s 2025 Craftsman Truck Series season, fondly spoke about his "incredible" Malcolm costar on the Inside of You with Michael Rosenbaum podcast. Muniz said:
"He still reaches out to me every couple of weeks [and] checks in on me. He really cares about what I'm doing. [He] comes to the races. When my band was playing, [he] came to shows. I mean, he's such an inspiration. And like I said, that's what I strive to be that for someone else in the future."

Every Thanksgiving, as the turkey roasts and the mashed potatoes reach peak fluffiness, millions of sitcom fans gather not around a dinner table, but around their screens, to indulge in their favorite Thanksgiving episodes. And to live up to that excitement shows like Friends, Gilmore Girls, and New Girl have served a few of the best Thanksgiving episodes.

But when it comes to Seinfeld, does the fan-favorite sitcom really have an official Thanksgiving episode? Apparently, while the show has aired several Christmas-themed episodes, the 1990s sitcom has only ever once focused on Thanksgiving. So, as the cranberry sauce settles, let’s take a moment to address the unofficial Seinfeld Thanksgiving episode that somehow always finds its way onto people’s screens.

Bryan Cranston might as well be considered one of the most renowned big-named in the entertainment industry today especially when it comes to TV, and a major credit for that goes to Breaking Bad. While the saga itself had an exceptional plot that had viewers constantly at the edge of their seats, the actor’s perfect portrayal of Walter White further added to its star-studdedness.

But it wasn’t like he desperately needed this job, as pieces like Malcolm in the Middle and his appearance in The X-Files had already introduced his prime skills to audiences worldwide. Nor was the paycheck the reason he decided to join it. Rather, Cranston’s real intentions behind becoming a part of this series were much more honorable: He simply wanted a change of pace.

Only Murders in the Building has some of the best guest stars of any series on television right now, but there are plenty of other actors that the show hasnt used yet who would be perfect for it. With its lead trio of Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez, Only Murders in the Building was an all-star show from the very beginning. But over the course of its first four seasons, its only gotten even more star-studded as a bunch of A-listers have come aboard to play recurring supporting roles.

I will admit that I’m not a regular listener to Rainn Wilson’s podcast. I also have no ill will toward the man, and do feel it’s unfair that he’s been so thoroughly pigeonholed as Dwight from The Office. I actually thought he was fantastic in Super, from James Gunn’s pre-Guardians days. However, a recent clip from his podcast, Soul Boom, perfectly encapsulates that awkward moment when you find that someone you felt was a kindred spirit may not, in fact, share the same experience with you that you think they do.
It’s a segment in which Wilson attempts to delve into Bryan Cranston’s thoughts about being stuck forever being known only as Walter White; I’d assume inspired by feeling a sense of connection to his personal prison of Dwighthood. There’s not much that needs to be said while introducing Bryan Cranston as his work in front of the camera has always proven that he’s one of the greatest actors in modern history. Cranston made his acting debut at the age of 8, which isn’t a commonly known fact about him. It was during the 90s that his career began to pick up.

Bryan Cranston may have been the mastermind Heisenberg on Breaking Bad, but off-screen, he wasn’t about to let anyone slack. During filming, Cranston reportedly lost his cool on a co-star who just couldn’t get their lines right. In a show as sharp and intense as Breaking Bad, there’s no room for fumbling—and Cranston wasn’t having it. The actor’s explosive reaction wasn’t just about perfectionism, it was about protecting the flow and energy of the scene.

It has been 25 years since Seinfeld came out and there were two characters that had growing chemistry that fans may never forget. Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Bryan Cranston’s characters are precisely the ones being referred to right now. Julia took on the role of Elaine Benes, who was best friends with the lead character of the show. Cranston was Tim Whatley, Jerry Seinfeld’s handsome dentist who charmed Elaine.

Bryan Cranston reached an all-time high when he played Walter White in Breaking Bad, but I don't think he needs to try to replace his best show. Bryan Cranston has experienced nearly universal acclaim and recognition for playing Walter White on Breaking Bad. His performance is often cited as one of the best in television history, and his portrayal of the chemistry genius turned meth dealer is a piece of pop culture history. While he was absolutely fantastic in Breaking Bad, the show has also unfortunately cast a shadow over his acting career.

A lot of children’s entertainment these days seems to consist of lazily repackaged pop-culture iconography, conveniently sanitized by corporations for parents to force upon their helpless kids. This is especially true in the world of children’s books, as evidenced by the Office-themed book set in “Dunder Mifflin Elementary.” Because what child wouldn’t want a bedtime story rehashing their parents’ favorite primetime network sitcom?

One of NBC’s most successful sitcoms, Seinfeld, featured multiple actors at their comedic genius. Among the many recurring characters, actor Bryan Cranston shone the brightest with his hilarious dialogue and performance. He played the role of Tim Whatley, Jerry and Kramer’s offbeat dentist.
Remembered as one of the best guest roles of the show, he appeared in five episodes but completely stole the spotlight as soon as he showed up on screen. Recalling his short stint in the popular series, Cranston mentioned his biggest achievement was making Jerry Seinfeld laugh. The Breaking Bad actor was so good at comic timing that he had Seinfeld enamored.
A recurring role with a lasting impact: Bryan Cranston
Seinfeld was a career-defining sitcom for multiple actors and a cultural phenomenon in the 1990s. For Bryan Cranston, the show held a significant spot; though he appeared for only a handful of episodes, the impact cannot be denied.

Throughout Seinfeld’s run, Jerry had a lot of girlfriends, with relationships ranging from humiliating to disastrous. Even so, he was better suited to some of his girlfriends than others. While Seinfeld started as a show about how a standup comedian gathers his material, it ended up being an exploration of the minutiae of daily life — and that included dating. Whereas shows like Friends and How I Met Your Mother featured long-term relationships and recurring love interests, the shallow, self-centered protagonists of Seinfeld usually found a reason to dump someone after a single episode's worth of time.
As a result, every character in Seinfeld had plenty of love interests over the years. Kramer dated Pam, Wendy, Audrey, Gail, Noreen, Tina, and Olive; Elaine dated Tony, Darryl, Tim Whatley, Lloyd Braun, and “Crazy” Joe Davola; and George dated Nina, Marcy, Anna, Diane, Karen, and Mary Anne.

TV is full of hard-working doctors such as Grey’s Anatomy’s pioneering neurosurgeon Dr. Derek Shepherd and Lost’s unrelated but ingenious Dr. Jack Shephard. However, there's a growing list of quirky doctors who would never be taken seriously as medical professionals. Instead, they become memorable for their sense of humor, clever schemes and carefree attitude while dealing with their patients.
Quirky doctors have meddled in their patients’ lives and attempted procedures they're not qualified for. Others have done things that were totally outside of their job descriptions. And even though no one would like to be treated by them in the real world, it's always fun watching them cause mayhem and deliver doses of laughs on TV screens.

The best sitcoms of all time generally have a number of hysterical holiday episodes to choose from — here are the best Seinfeld Christmas and New Year's episodes. Audiences came to know Seinfeld as "the show about nothing." It is, without question, one of the greatest sitcoms of all time, and this is largely due to the unique frivolity of its subject matter. Whereas many half-hour comedies are formulaic in their plot structures, Seinfeld consistently pushed the envelope with its unconventional narratives, going as far as to set an entire episode in a Chinese restaurant where the heroes wait for a table.

The best Seinfeld holiday season episodes are full of quirks that the show is known for, including the fake holiday "Festivus."
