Kostas Kefalas is a Greek film producer and academic with over 25 years of experience in cinema and theater production. He studied physics and film in Athens and Stockholm and has produced more than 30 films, including Les mariées (2004) by Pantelis Voulgaris, La terre qui pleure (2004) by Theodoros Angelopoulos, Attenberg (2010) by Athina Rachel Tsangari, Alps (2011) by Yorgos Lanthimos, and Before Midnight (2013) by Richard Linklater. He has also produced stage works by Dimitris Papaioannou, including 2, Medea, and Inside. Since 2005, Kefalas has taught Film Production at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where he was appointed lecturer in 2007. He serves as Head of Production at Faliro House and was part of the production team for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Athens 2004 Olympic Games.
