Rita Das is a writer and actress, and the daughter of retired Colonel C.M.P. Sinha, who served for many years and fought in the 1965 and 1971 wars with the Bihar Regiment. Her mother, Meera Sinha, is a teacher. Rita Das studied at the Army Public School in Dhaula Kuan.She is a talented writer with a unique ability to generate fresh and innovative ideas. Rita is married to Ashis Das, a banker, and they have two beautiful sons, both of whom are also involved in the entertainment field.
