The new album album, released via Def Jam, was announced just yesterday (July 10th) via billboards posted in various cities around the world, including Los Angeles, New York City and Reykjavik, Iceland. Bieber shared a host of videos and photos on his Instagram account, including some that revealed the album’s 21-song tracklist.

Swag is the first new Bieber album since his 2021 full-length, Justice. Guest contributors include Lil B, Dijon, Gunna, mk.gee, Daniel Caesar, Sexxy Redd, Druski, and Cash Cobain.

The album arrives during a tough year for the pop star; just last month, he took to Instagram to report feeling “broken,” writing, “Don’t you think if I could have fixed myself I would have already?”

Governors Ball 2025 kicked off on Friday with a jam-packed lineup and memorable sets by acts like Tyler, the Creator and Mk.gee, but the second day of the New York music festival faced some hiccups because of inclement weather. On Saturday morning, the festival posted a message letting attendees know that due to weather, doors would be pushed back from 12 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Paul Mescal is entering the Colosseum that is Studio 8H. The “Gladiator II” star was revealed to be the next host of “Saturday Night Live” in an interstitial that aired during the Nov. 16 episode featuring Charli Xcx as guest. Shaboozey was announced as a musical guest.

Mescal and Shaboozey will be featured on the Dec. 7 episode of “SNL,” which will mark the program’s first episode after a three-week hiatus for the Thanksgiving holiday.

The “SNL” episode will come two weeks after Mescal’s “Gladiator II” hits theaters in North America. In Ridley Scott’s sequel to his 2000 best picture winner, Mescal stars as Hanno, the former heir to the Roman empire now forced to return to his home and fight as a gladiator. The film also stars Pedro Pascal, Connie Nielsen, Fred Hechinger, Joseph Quinn and Denzel Washington.

“Saturday Night Live’s” Weekend Update is once again anchored by Jost and Che, as they’ve done every week together since September 2014. As of the 47th season three years ago, they are officially the longest-serving duo in the history of Weekend Update.

At the most recent Emmy Awards, the variety series won its 101st trophy overall, making it the biggest winner in the history of the Television Academy.

Elon Musk was not amused by the Saturday Night Live sketch featuring a spoof of the famous billionaire. The segment sparked some heavy criticism from Musk, who says that the sketch comedy series is dying a slow death.

The segment featuring the Musk spoof was the cold open sketch for Saturday night's episode of SNL. In the skit, the cast members of SNL take turns to jokingly claim how they have always supported Donald Trump, now that he's been elected to become the 47th President of the United States. At one point, "Elon Musk" is introduced, portrayed by SNL vet Dana Carvey. Carvey's Musk comes dancing into the scene before making a comment about how he now runs the country. He then added the quip, "Americans be like one of my rockets, you know? They're super cool, and super fun, but there's a slight chance it could blow up and everybody dies.

Multi-instrumentalist Mk.gee debuted on Saturday Night Live with performances of “Alesis” and his recently released single “Rockman.”

The former, from the guitarist’s first studio album, Two Star & the Dream Police, also saw Zack Sekoff and Andrew Aged on electronics and guitar, respectively.

The 28-year-old New Jersey native, who’s been delivering captivating live performances elsewhere, then performed “Rockman”–eagle screech included.

The track, which he debuted in October, has drawn comparisons to Sting and The Police, though Mk.gee hasn’t been specific about its inspiration.

The cast of Saturday Night Live kicked off their post-election show trying to get on Donald Trump’s good side after he defeated Kamala Harris in the 2024 election earlier in the week.

The cold open got underway with castmembers Bowen Yang, Heidi Gardner, Marcello Hernández, Ego Nwodim, Sarah Sherman, Kenan Thompson and Colin Jost speaking directly to the camera in a serious manner.

“On Tuesday, Americans went to the polls and elected Donald Trump to be the next president of the United States,” Yang says as Nwodim continues, “To many people, including many people watching this show right now, the results were shocking and even horrifying.”

“Donald Trump, who tried to forcibly overturn the results of the last election, was returned to office by an overwhelming majority,” Gardner says as Thompson adds, “This is the same Donald Trump who openly called for vengeance against his political enemies.”

Bill Burr is set to take on a post-Election Day episode of “Saturday Night Live” this weekend, with a promo released Wednesday for his appearance hyping it up — and teasing the answer to the real cause of death for financier and convicted sex criminal Jeffrey Epstein, who famously died in prison by suicide and prompted conspiracy theories about if there was something more nefarious behind his death.

The playful promo opens with the stand-up comic making coffee backstage at “SNL” when young cast member Marcello Hernández approaches him. When filming the sketch to promote this week’s episode of “Saturday Night Live,” host Bill Burr and cast member Marcello Hernandez faced a unique problem: How to address the presidential election even though the spot would be shot before the results were known?

Their answer: Sound gags and Jeffrey Epstein jokes.

While discussing the election by the craft services table, Burr and Hernandez keep getting interrupted by increasingly absurd loud noises that drown out what their saying.

Hernandez says, “Dude, I cannot believe that … won” as a crew member makes a smoothie in a nearby blender, perfectly timed to make the winner’s name inaudible.

The Saturday Night Live promos are on a roll this season, with last week’s John Mulaney-meets-Bob Dylan and now a new one featuring this week’s host Bill Burr telling some hard-to-hear secrets.
