Justin Bieber Releases Surprise New Album Swag: Stream
Image
And just like that, Justin Bieber dropped his seventh studio album, Swag.

The new album album, released via Def Jam, was announced just yesterday (July 10th) via billboards posted in various cities around the world, including Los Angeles, New York City and Reykjavik, Iceland. Bieber shared a host of videos and photos on his Instagram account, including some that revealed the album’s 21-song tracklist.

Swag is the first new Bieber album since his 2021 full-length, Justice. Guest contributors include Lil B, Dijon, Gunna, mk.gee, Daniel Caesar, Sexxy Redd, Druski, and Cash Cobain.

The album arrives during a tough year for the pop star; just last month, he took to Instagram to report feeling “broken,” writing, “Don’t you think if I could have fixed myself I would have already?”

That admission followed a Bieber representative issuing a statement denying that the pop star was ever a victim of Sean “Diddy” Combs,...

Malcolm Todd Steps Into the Pop Arena With Knockout Debut
Image
Malcolm Todd wants to be the next Main Pop Boy — and his debut album Malcolm Todd proves that he’s willing to fight for it, even if he gets a little bloody and bruised in the process. There’s been a noticeable absence of Bieber-esque figures in pop music for a while now, though many have tried to fill that role. Partial Harry Styles replicas have popped up here and there, too. At 21, Todd knows that pop doesn’t function quite the same way that it did when those juggernaut artists first arrived.

Justin Bieber Eyeing Comeback: “Needs the Money and Wants to Work”
Image
After several years out of the spotlight, Justin Bieber is poised to make a comeback in 2025.

Since a high-profile split with his longtime manager Scooter Braun in August of 2023 after more than a decade of partnership, the Grammy winner has largely taken the past few years to be away from the stage in favor of spending time with his wife, Hailey, and young son, Jack.

But according to the “What I’m Hearing” newsletter from Matthew Belloni of Puck News, the pop star is taking steps to return to music, including bringing on a new attorney. The choice to come back to recording (and potentially performing) could be majorly financially motivated, Belloni notes — while Bieber sold his catalog for a whopping $200 million in 2023, the artist still owes Aeg a significant sum after the cancellation of his tour for health reasons in 2022.

“I’m told Bieber needs the money and wants to work,...

'SNL Has Been Dying Slowly for Years': Elon Musk Blasts Saturday Night Live After Getting Spoofed
Image
Elon Musk was not amused by the Saturday Night Live sketch featuring a spoof of the famous billionaire. The segment sparked some heavy criticism from Musk, who says that the sketch comedy series is dying a slow death.

The segment featuring the Musk spoof was the cold open sketch for Saturday night's episode of SNL. In the skit, the cast members of SNL take turns to jokingly claim how they have always supported Donald Trump, now that he's been elected to become the 47th President of the United States. At one point, "Elon Musk" is introduced, portrayed by SNL vet Dana Carvey. Carvey's Musk comes dancing into the scene before making a comment about how he now runs the country. He then added the quip, "Americans be like one of my rockets, you know? They're super cool, and super fun, but there's a slight chance it could blow up and everybody dies.

‘SNL’: Watch Mk.gee Perform ‘Alesis,’ ‘Rockman’
Image
Multi-instrumentalist Mk.gee debuted on Saturday Night Live with performances of “Alesis” and his recently released single “Rockman.”

The former, from the guitarist’s first studio album, Two Star & the Dream Police, also saw Zack Sekoff and Andrew Aged on electronics and guitar, respectively.

The 28-year-old New Jersey native, who’s been delivering captivating live performances elsewhere, then performed “Rockman”–eagle screech included.

The track, which he debuted in October, has drawn comparisons to Sting and The Police, though Mk.gee hasn’t been specific about its inspiration.

Mk.gee’s...

Bill Burr Jokes That Women Running Against Trump Should Ditch the Pantsuit and ‘Whore It Up a Little’ in Fiery ‘SNL’ Monologue
Image
Hosting the post-election episode of “Saturday Night Live,” Bill Burr opened his monologue with a laugh: “Nice to be here on such a fun week. I don’t want to hear it. I don’t watch politics. We’re gonna keep it light.”

But it wasn’t long before he addressed the elephant in the room.

“All right ladies, you’re 0 and 2 on this guy,” Burr said, referring to Donald Trump’s victories over both Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris. “But you learn more from your losses than your wins. Let’s get into the game tape.”

“Ladies, enough with the pantsuit. Ok? It’s not working! Stop trying to have respect for yourselves,” he joked, referring to Harris’ and Clinton’s wardrobes.

“You don’t win the office on policy; you gotta whore it up a little! I’m not saying go full Hooters,” he said. “But find the...

‘SNL’ Cast Sarcastically Attempts to Get on Trump’s Good Side After Election Results: “We’ve Been With You All Along”
Image
The cast of Saturday Night Live kicked off their post-election show trying to get on Donald Trump’s good side after he defeated Kamala Harris in the 2024 election earlier in the week.

The cold open got underway with castmembers Bowen Yang, Heidi Gardner, Marcello Hernández, Ego Nwodim, Sarah Sherman, Kenan Thompson and Colin Jost speaking directly to the camera in a serious manner.

“On Tuesday, Americans went to the polls and elected Donald Trump to be the next president of the United States,” Yang says as Nwodim continues, “To many people, including many people watching this show right now, the results were shocking and even horrifying.”

“Donald Trump, who tried to forcibly overturn the results of the last election, was returned to office by an overwhelming majority,” Gardner says as Thompson adds, “This is the same Donald Trump who openly called for vengeance against his political enemies.”

Yang and Nwodim continue,...

Hot Jacked Trump Flexes As ‘SNL’ Bends The Knee & Flips The Bird Over Ex-potus’ Election Win
Image
“For now on we’re going to do very flattering portrayal of Trump,” announced James Austin Johnson’s Rambo-bandana wearing Donald Trump, flexing his muscles in tonight’s Saturday Night Live post-election cold open. “He’s going to make an incredible President, and eventually king.”

Which means, we’re a long long way from a “cool new step-mamala.”

A week after Kamala Harris was on SNL riffing and cracking up with doppelgänger Maya Rudolph, Trump’s solid November 5 victory over the VP and return to the White House was the only thing the Lorne Michaels-run show could have for its cold open.

SNL kissed the ring, bent the knee and took it way too far in the best way.

Adding to the moment, if you didn’t get it, there was a “Hail Trump” from Marcello Hernandez. The closer was a pretty great Elon Musk impression from the maestro himself Dana Carvey,...

Bill Burr Teases Who Killed Jeffrey Epstein in ‘SNL’ Promo | Video
Image
Bill Burr is set to take on a post-Election Day episode of “Saturday Night Live” this weekend, with a promo released Wednesday for his appearance hyping it up — and teasing the answer to the real cause of death for financier and convicted sex criminal Jeffrey Epstein, who famously died in prison by suicide and prompted conspiracy theories about if there was something more nefarious behind his death.

The playful promo opens with the stand-up comic making coffee backstage at “SNL” when young cast member Marcello Hernández approaches him. As they begin talking Tuesday’s election, the obviously pre-taped promo obscures any details that might reveal that it wasn’t filmed after the election by covering those parts of the conversation up with loud background noises, starting with someone turning on a blender.

Hernández expresses his disbelief about who won the election, with Burr adding that “never in a million years...

SNL Promo: Host Bill Burr and Marcello Hernandez Discuss Election Results, Epstein’s Killer (!) and More
Image
Bill Burr is on deck to host this weekend’s Saturday Night Live, which of course arrives on the heels of this week’s presidential election results. So of course he and SNL‘s Marcello Hernandez are going to discuss the results in a first promo, right?

Burr and Hernandez do just that in the video above, and frankly it’s hard to tell which of the two is more shocked by the outcome of the election.

In ‘SNL’ Promo, Host Bill Burr Reveals ‘Who Actually Killed Epstein’ and Jokes He ‘Voted for Everybody’ in the Election
Image
When filming the sketch to promote this week’s episode of “Saturday Night Live,” host Bill Burr and cast member Marcello Hernandez faced a unique problem: How to address the presidential election even though the spot would be shot before the results were known?

Their answer: Sound gags and Jeffrey Epstein jokes.

While discussing the election by the craft services table, Burr and Hernandez keep getting interrupted by increasingly absurd loud noises that drown out what their saying.

Hernandez says, “Dude, I cannot believe that … won” as a crew member makes a smoothie in a nearby blender, perfectly timed to make the winner’s name inaudible.

Burr replies, “Never in a million years — in a million years — did I think that…” as someone runs a vacuum cleaner behind them.

To keep the gag going, Burr then tells Hernandez that he was “in a steam room with Giuliani” who told him...

‘SNL’ Promo: Bill Burr Tells Marcello Hernández Who Murdered Jeffrey Epstein And The Killer Was…
Image
The Saturday Night Live promos are on a roll this season, with last week’s John Mulaney-meets-Bob Dylan and now a new one featuring this week’s host Bill Burr telling some hard-to-hear secrets.

In the new video, Burr and SNL cast member Marcello Hernández meet at the craft services table to do a little political gossiping about the presidential election, a highly publicized jailhouse death and even a shared interest in some mood-elevating goodies.

The gag: Each time they get to the juicy parts, a loud sound – vacuum cleaner, leaf blower, juice mixer, drill – drowns them out.

“I was randomly in a steam room with Giuliani,” Burr says. “He sits down, hairy, hairy, right? He told me who actually killed Epstein. He said it was…”

Check out Hernández’s response in the video above.

This weekend will mark Burr’s second time as SNL host, following his much-discussed October 2020 visit.

‘Saturday Night Live’ Highlights: Vice President Kamala Harris Plays Opposite Vice President Kamala Harris
Image
The pre-Election Day episode of “Saturday Night Live” has become a staple of the long-running sketch comedy series, on par with other celebratory-themed episodes they do for Halloween and Christmas. And while it may be hard to laugh about this particular election cycle, with half the country seemingly still ready to vote for a man who’s about to be sentenced for 34 felony counts against him and who still has further litigation pending related to his attempted coup, “SNL 50” was ready to pull out the big guns to give audiences a reprieve from their anxieties. Before six-time host John Mulaney and first-time musical guest Chappell Roan made their entrance, the crowd was greeted by none other than presidential hopeful Kamala Harris, who joined her “SNL” counterpart Maya Rudolph for a cold open sketch that scratched the funny bone and pulled on the heartstrings.

After cast members James Austin Johnson and...
