Rick Treon is an actor-writer known for portraying Ike Clanton in the indie television show They Call Me Marshal and for supporting roles in indie features The Relic: Dragon and Down the Arm of God.
He's also been featured in major motion pictures, including Eddington (Ari Aster / A24), Him (Justin Tipping / Jordan Peele / Universal) and Protector (with Mila Jovovich). He has performed as a principal for a Meow Wolf project and several shorts, and done background work in several major features and TV projects.
Rick was born in Mesa, Arizona, to Richard and Julie Treon (nee Edwards). His father worked construction, so his family moved several times before finally settling in the Texas Panhandle. Rick graduated from West Texas High School in Stinnett, Texas, before graduating from the University of Texas at Austin in 2008 with a Bachelor's of Journalism.
After an award-winning career in newspapers and publishing several award-winning crime fiction books, Rick began working with Blue Handle Publishing as its editorial director and writing screenplays during and immediately after the corona-virus pandemic.
