Martin Owens-Cairns was born in Coventry in 1988. he was bitten by the
acting bug at a young age with a love of theatre he worked with various
local amateur dramatic societies from the age of 12. he has always had
a love of the theatre, stage and screen, He started his professional
career as an extra in television. Appearing alongside
Davie Fairbanks in TV commercial for Red
Driving School in 2009. And from there went on to appear in two short
LB films directed by Brett Gerry, and then
as his love of television work grew he got the opportunity as an extra
to appear alongside stars of the British televison stage and screen
such as David Tennant,
Dougray Scott and
Jack O'Connell in the BBC2
Television Drama United (2011) in
2010; Martin Shaw in
Inspecteur Gently (2007)
and Emun Elliott,
Sarah Lancashire &
David Hayman in
The Paradise (2012)
His love for acting continues today, and he shares his love of the theatre with his family as he now currently lives in Newcastle Upon-Tyne with his wife and daughter.
