Despite the series being one of the most viewed on the streaming giant, I was one of the few to stand up to power by giving the first season of The Night Agent a lousy review. Donald Trump became the 45th president of the United States on a promise to “Make America Great Again.” But a preeminent group of political scientists that Trump would no doubt characterize as “haters and losers” has once again ranked him as the worst commander-in-chief in the nation’s history.

The 2024 Presidential Greatness Project Expert Survey was conducted at the end of 2023 among members of the Presidents & Executive Politics Section of the American Political Science Association — a group that publishes multiple academic journals — and scholars who have lately published peer-reviewed papers related to presidential politics.

Women in Film (Wif) has unveiled its inaugural fellowship program, TheWrap can reveal exclusively.

This year’s fellowship program, which launched as the organization celebrates its 50th anniversary, recognizes 87 directors, writers, cinematographers, creative or indie producers, line producers, executives, reps, artisans and below-the-line crew members.

Open to women, nonbinary, and trans people across entertainment, the program will bring together the fellows for a year of mentorship from the Wif team, including guest speakers and master classes, networking, field trips and other individualized support.

With mentors from both the business and craft sides of the industry, each fellow will participate in six mentoring sessions with their cohort and mentor team, and will meet with Melissa Verdugo, a former talent manager and current Wif senior manager of career programs, to discuss an individualized plan based on each fellows’ needs.

Jennifer Fox is naming the perpetrator behind her autobiographical Emmy-nominated film “The Tale.”

Writer-director Fox detailed her sexual abuse at age 13 when she was molested by a 40-year-old coach. Laura Dern portrayed adult Fox in the made-for-hbo film that showed both timelines of Fox enduring the abuse and later reflecting on it. Fox is now naming two-time Olympic medalist in rowing and nine-time Olympic coach Ted Nash as her assailant. Nash died in 2021.

“The adult part of me wants to move on, but that child in me, she wants to face him and get it over with and name him,” Fox told The New York Times. “There was a part of me saying, I will not let you rest until you name him.”

Rival Sons have announced an extensive 2023 North American tour featuring support from The Black Angels, The Record Company, and Starcrawler. The Grammy-nominated California rockers have also unveiled the new single “Bird in the Hand” from their upcoming album, Darkfighter, due June 2nd.
