Some good news just dropped for fans of Sonic the Hedgehog - his most highly acclaimed movie is coming to a new streaming service.

Starting on June 20, Sonic the Hedgehog 3 will be speeding onto Prime Video, and those who haven't seen the movie yet will get a chance to watch it. The Sonic the Hedgehog movies were a major factor in convincing people that video games could make good films.

For many anime fans, the bombastic action scenes pulled them in before anything else. The great stories and awesome characters might've helped them stay, but the action is what catches most people's eyes. Even veteran anime fans still love watching a captivating fight scene unfold.

That just makes it all the more frustrating when a fight that could've been great just winds up letting fans down. Sometimes the fight just wasn't as important to the studio as it was to the fans. Originally announced with the title Nowhere Men, a crime thriller starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan (The Walking Dead), Jack Quaid (Companion), and Malin Akerman (Watchmen) has now secured a North American distribution deal with Rlje Films and is set to receive a theatrical and VOD release under the title Neighborhood Watch on April 25th.

Directed by Duncan Skiles (The Clovehitch Killer) from a screenplay by newcomer Sean Farley, Neighborhood Watch follows Simon (Quaid), a young man grappling with mental illness, who becomes convinced that he has witnessed an abduction. When he reports it to the police and they refuse to believe him, he reluctantly seeks the help of his neighbor Ed (Morgan), a retired security guard with a troubled past. As two try to unravel the mystery, they are forced to confront the dark secrets surrounding the disappearance, as well as grapple with their own issues.

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 has already teased its exciting post-credits scene, but this pattern is actually setting up a major problem for the franchise's future. The Sonic the Hedgehog movies have surprisingly become known for their post-credits scenes, with both of the movies that have been released so far featuring post-credits scenes that show off exciting new characters. On Hulu’s press page, it was revealed that Boruto: Naruto Next Generations’ English dub is scheduled to air on June 1, 2024. Hulu will air Viz Media's English dub version of the series.

The Boruto anime debuted in Japan in April 2017 on TV Tokyo. Part 1 of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations concluded with 293 episodes in March 2023, paving the way for part 2, which has also been confirmed.

Viz Media secured the rights to the series’ dub and will stream it on Hulu next month.

The 2024 BottleRock Napa Valley festival, which takes place May 24 to 26 in Napa Valley, California, will feature headlining sets by Pearl Jam, Ed Sheeran, Stevie Nicks, and Maná. Although known for silently brooding on Angel Island while guarding the Master Emerald, Knuckles the Echidna was once part of a team called the Chaotix, and Idw Publishing's Sonic the Hedgehog is finally reuniting the team in an upcoming issue. Introduced in the 1995 game Knuckles' Chaotix, the eponymous group worked together to protect six magic rings from Doctor Robotnik and Metal Sonic.

The upcoming Sonic #65 not only features a cover by artist Natalie Haines depicting Knuckles posing dramatically in front of the Chaotix (sans Mighty the Armadillo), but the official solicitation reveals it is indeed a dream come true for '90s fans. Knuckles enlists the services of the Chaotix to retrieve a stolen relic from Angel Island, a crime that was most likely perpetrated by the Babylon Rogues. Sonic #65 is by writers Ian Flynn and Evan Stanley, artist Adam Bryce Thomas and Aaron Hammerstrom.
