Bella Hadid in diamond bikini transforms into video vixen for Offset’s ‘Code’

Bella Hadid has dominated the last season of fashion, with leading campaigns for Balenciaga, Michael Kors, and Thierry Mugler, to name a few.

Now, Bella is adding a new title to her resume: video vixen. A video vixen is a model who appears in music videos as the eye candy for viewers typically appearing in hip hop videos. Notable video vixens include Saweetie’s mom, Melyssa Ford, Vida Guerra, and Lauren London.

Add Bella Hadid to that list as she starred in Cardi B’s husband, Offset’s music video for Code.

Dua Lipa posted a photo with Offset playing cards at the Balenciaga show, where she walked alongside Kim Kardashian, Nicole Kidman, and Bella Hadid last month. Some may have thought the pairing was random and...

How Hugh Hefner's Playboy Was a Surprising Trailblazer for Diversity and Inclusion
The Playboy mansion in Beverly Hills, long synonymous with lavish, bunny-filled parties, loses its iconic leader: Hugh Hefner. The 91-year-old, who founded Playboy Enterprises in 1953, passed away at his home on Wednesday of “natural causes,” according to a rep for the late media mogul.

“My father lived an exceptional and impactful life as a media and cultural pioneer and a leading voice behind some of the most significant social and cultural movements of our time in advocating free speech, civil rights, and sexual freedom. He defined a lifestyle and ethos that lie at the heart of the Playboy brand, one...

Exclusive Video Interview: Kristen Bell Talks Chips
Chips represents something of a burning passion project for Dax Shepard, who initially approached WB with a pitch that took the core concept of the ’70s TV show and slapped on a new lick of paint. The end result is a wildly over-the-top, laugh-out-loud funny, buddy cop movie in the vein of Lethal Weapon or Michael Bay’s Bad Boys, one in which Shepard is joined by Ant-Man‘s Michael Peña.

Together, they form the fiercest duo on the California Highway Patrol, one which spends their days catching criminals – or at the very least, trying to – and generally frolicking around on America’s sun-kissed West Coast. Rounding out the cast list for the hilarious, R-rated romp are Kristen Bell (Dax Shepard’s significant other), Rosa Salazar, Adam Brody, Jessica McNamee, Vida Guerra, Rene Moran and Kelly Richardson.

Recently, at the film’s press day in Los Angeles, we had the...

Chips Red Carpet Premiere Interviews with Michael Peña, Jessica McNamee and More!
Boys in blue have arrived to their Hollywood premiere earlier this week to promote the raunchy comedy Chips.

Most of the cast, including the main stars Dax Shepard and Michael Pena, were in attendance to celebrate the premiere. Chips will be in theaters nationwide on Friday, March 24.

Other cast members in attendance included Jessica McNamee, Ryan Hansen, Kristen Bell, Ben Falcone, Vida Guerra, Jackie Tohn, Arturo del Puerto and Carly Hatter.

There were also plenty of guests on the carpet, including Erik Estrada, Melissa McCarthy and Oscar de la Hoya.

Here’s the official synopsis:

Jon Baker (Shepard) and Frank Ponch Poncherello (Peña) have just joined the California Highway Patrol (Chp) in Los Angeles, but for very different reasons. Baker is a beaten-up former pro motorbiker trying to put his life and marriage back together. Poncherello is a cocky undercover Federal agent investigating a multi-million dollar heist that may be an inside job-inside the Chp.

Red Band Trailer For Chips Features Bad Cops Gone Wild
On paper, it’s easy to compare Warner Bros. and Dax Shepard’s upcoming Chips reboot to the Jump Street series. Both action movies mined inspiration from a pair of dormant TV series and, in their journey to the big screen, tapped two bankable comedy stars to lead the charge.

But rather than Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill starring as the mismatched leading duo, Chips has set Ant-Man‘s Michael Peña to star opposite Dax Shepard. The latter directs from his own screenplay, and after years spent lobbying for a big-screen reboot, it’s almost fitting that Shepard headlines Warner’s buddy-cop comedy as one half of the California Highway Patrol. Indeed from the all-new red band trailer above, you’ll no doubt discover that Chips touts many of the genre’s hallmarks: a bickering odd couple, corruption within the department, along with the inevitable inside job. But perhaps the...

CHiPs Red Band Trailer Gets Raunchy with Ponch and Jon
Erik Estrada and Larry Wilcox in Chips (1977)
Though it's another raunchy, R-rated take on a classic TV show, CHiPs hasn't gotten the same kind of promotional push as this year's Baywatch. An adults only update on the hit adventure series from the late 70s, CHiPs will be in theaters in less than a month, and we've barely heard anything about it. Following the first trailer released just weeks ago, Warner Bros. has delivered a go-for-broke red band sneak peek that is sure to tease, tantalize, and really get a few old school fans worked up. This isn't the CHiPs your grandparents used to know!

Jon Baker and Frank "Ponch" Poncherello have just joined the California Highway Patrol in Los Angeles, but for very different reasons. Baker is a professional motorbike rider who's trying to put his life and marriage back together. Poncherello is a cocky, undercover FBI agent who's investigating a multimillion dollar heist that may be an inside job.

Ponch and Jon Return in CHiPs Movie Character Posters
Erik Estrada and Larry Wilcox in Chips (1977)
Warner Bros. has released two new character posters for the highly-anticipated CHiPs remake, featuring the new Jon Baker (Dax Shepard) and Frank 'Ponch' Poncherello (Michael Pena). While these officers may certainly be unorthodox, Ponch has a "mind for action" while Jon possesses and "appetite for justice," although these posters don't necessarily reflect that. Jon is seen spilling his lunch on his uniform, while Ponch is seen holding a woman's bra. They're clearly two of the California Highway Patrol's finest.

The movie is based on the original TV series of the same name, where motorcycle officers Jon Baker (Larry Wilcox) and Frank "Ponch" Poncherello (Erik Estrada) cruised the freeways of Los Angeles, solving crimes and helping people in trouble. The show debuted on NBC on September 15, 1977 and ran for 6 seasons. While the season finale aired in May 1983, Ponch and Jon would return more than a decade later. Stars Erik Estrada and...

Chips: Dax Shepard And Michael Peña Hit The Highway In New Photo
Empire Magazine has elected Logan to be the cover star of its latest issue, that much we know. But over the past few days, the outlet has previewed a whole host of movies headed to theaters in 2017, one of which being Chips, the small-to-big-screen revival hatched by Warner Bros. and Dax Shepard.

Indeed, Chips represents something of a burning passion project for Shepard, who initially approached WB with a pitch that took the core concept of the ’70s TV show and slapped on a new lick of paint. The end result is a wildly over-the-top buddy cop movie in the vein of Lethal Weapon or Michael Bay’s Bad Boys, one in which Shepard is joined by Ant-Man‘s Michael Peña. First Trailer for ‘CHiPs’ Remake Finds Michael Peña and Dax Shepard on Patrol
If one crime comedy featuring Michael Peña as a badge-wielding officer that doesn’t go by the books isn’t enough for you this spring, how about another? Following the steps of 21 Jump Street and Baywatch, another long-off-the-air TV show is being resurrected for a new feature film remake. This time it’s the 1970s show CHiPs, which is directed by Dax Shepard, who also writes and stars. Ahead of a March release, the first trailer has now landed.

“My aim was somewhere in the Bad Boys, Lethal Weapon world, Shepard tells EW. “That was my take on it. It’s interesting because it’s definitely a comedy where the show is not, but the stakes are very real and the world is real and the physics are real and all those things are grounded. Insane situations happen but it’s not happening in a satire world or a heightened world.

First Chips Movie Trailer and Poster Show That It's Nothing Like The 80s TV Show
These aren’t the CHiPs your dad watched decades ago.

On Jimmy Kimmel Live, the first trailer of Chips was revealed, which stars Dax Shepard and Michael Pena as the buddy motorcycle cops.

The trailer shows lots of jokes, fun and plenty of raunchiness. They’re not quite the cool and serious Poncherello and Baker from the television show.

Here’s the official synopsis:

Jon Baker and Frank “Ponch” Poncherello have just joined the California Highway Patrol (Chp) in Los Angeles, but for very different reasons. Baker is a beaten up pro moterbiker trying to put his life and marriage back together. Poncherello is a cocky undercover Federal agent investigating a multi-million dollar heist that may be an inside job—inside the Chp. The inexperienced rookie and hardened pro are teamed together, but clash more than click, so kickstarting a partnership is easier said than done. But with Baker’s...

Wild First Trailer For CHiPs Places Bros Before PoPos
The California Highway Patrol deploys for duty in the wild first trailer for CHiPs, Warner Bros. and director Dax Shepard’s R-rated reboot that takes the classic TV show and slaps on a new lick of paint.

Premiering via tonight’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, the sizzle reel allows us to get acquainted with both Jon Baker (Dax Shepard) and Frank ‘Ponch’ Poncherello (Michael Peña), two new recruits to California Highway Patrol (Chp) that have enrolled in La’s police unit for very different reasons. And so begins a mismatched buddy cop comedy wherein the wet-behind-the-ears rookie must join forces with the seasoned veteran, but don’t go in expecting an over-the-top romp in the vein of 22 Jump Street or the upcoming Baywatch reboot. According to Shepard – who wrote, directed and produced Warner’s imminent crime caper – CHiPs is more in line with Bad Boys or Lethal Weapon than its other genre contemporaries.

CHiPs Movie Trailer: Ponch and Jon Are Back
Erik Estrada and Larry Wilcox in Chips (1977)
Warner Bros. recently bumped up the release of their upcoming R-rated take on the buddy cop show CHiPs, which means a couple of things. One, the studio seems to have some confidence in the movie and two, they really need to start marketing it. That being the case, the first trailer for the upcoming CHiPs movie has arrived, and it is big on action and comedy.

A little tease for this first trailer was revealed earlier by the Warner Bros. Twitter account which showed a lot of motorcycle stunts wrapped in laughs, which makes it appear as though CHiPs will make good use of its R-rating. Warner Bros. also announced that the first trailer would debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and as promised, it did. We now have a good idea of what this new take on the material from director Dax Shepard, who is also starring in the movie,...

First CHiPs Movie Footage Has Insane Action and Big Laughs
Erik Estrada and Larry Wilcox in Chips (1977)
Following the first CHiPs photo released last month, Warner Bros. has debuted the first poster and a brief trailer preview, giving fans a sneak peek before the first full trailer is unveiled tonight on Jimmy Kimmel Live. The trailer preview gives us our first look at Jon Baker (Dax Shepard) and Frank "Ponch" Poncharello (Michael Pena) in action, as they begin their new partnership as members of the California Highway Patrol. If that wasn't enough, we also have the first poster, which shows Baker and Ponch doing a little fist bump while they ride through a crime scene.

The trailer preview, which debuted on the new Warner Bros. Twitter account for the movie, shows Ponch crashing his bike while in pursuit of a suspect, along with the catchy tagline "Bros before PoPos." Last month, Warner Bros. pushed CHiPs up to a spring release date of March 24, after the studio delayed...

Chips Movie and Stephen King's It Get 2017 Release Dates
Warner Bros. beefed up its 2017 release slate today, by issuing dates for three upcoming movies, their big screen adaptation of the hit TV series CHiPs (August 11, 2017), an adaptation of Stephen King's It (September 8, 2017) and an unspecified PG-13 comedy (December 22, 2017). Warner Bros. had already marked August 11, 2017 for an unknown "event film," but today they revealed which title will take that slot. As for the PG-13 comedy, that's anybody's guess at this point.

Deadline reports that CHiPs will go up against Sony Pictures' Emoji on August 11, 2017, but it will also open one week after three highly-anticipated summer movies. 20th Century Fox will be unveiling Alien: Covenant on August 4, 2017, while Universal Pictures will release Pitch Perfect 3 and Open Road Films will debut Blazing Samurai on the same date. As of now, no other movies are slated to hit theaters for the rest of that month, but that will surely change soon.

Erik Estrada and Larry Wilcox in Chips (1977)

In the original series, California Highway Patrol motorcycle officers Jon Baker and Frank "Ponch" Poncherello cruised the freeways of Los Angeles, solving crimes and helping people in trouble. Vida Guerra
Model Guerra Sued Over Outstanding Rent
Vida Guerra
Model/actress Vida Guerra has been hit with a lawsuit from her former landlords in a dispute over unpaid rent.

The Cuban-born beauty is accused of owing Los Angeles-based property firm Sbl, LLC almost $30,000 (£20,000) after failing to hand over cash for the apartment she rented back in November 2008.

Guerra is alleged to have signed a one-year lease - costing $3,250 (£2,165) a month - for the L.A. home, but moved out after three months and refused to pay for the remainder of the contract.

Landlords were further angered after discovering damage to the apartment - according to court papers filed in L.A. County Superior Court, Guerra left "stains on the carpets and holes in the walls".

Sbl bosses are seeking in excess of $35,000 (£23,330) in compensation, reports TMZ.com.
