Whitney Sloan
Whitney Sloan began her career - in Theatre - at the tender age of five. The next nine years of her life were spent performing in every play she could get her hands on, whilst moving schools/countries/States constantly. After many stage performances in London and San Francisco (most recently Maria in "Westside Story", Hodel in "Fiddler on the Roof", and Juliet in "Romeo and Juliet"), Whitney headed to Los Angeles to pursue a career in film and television. Her original plan of only spending a summer there was abandoned after immediately nabbing roles on the hit shows "Judging Amy", "General Hospital", and the independent film "State's Evidence".

Whitney managed to shoot two films ("Blue Demon" and "Glass Trap"), star in a school production (Lilian Hellman's "The Children's Hour"), and maintain excellent grades for the duration of her sophomore year.

During her Junior year, she starred in the Disney Channel original movie "Go Figure" and the ABC sitcom pilot "Joint Custody" (playing Marilu Henner's rebellious punk daughter). For her role in "Go Figure," Whitney spent several week on location learning how to play ice hockey.

After working back to back for months, Whitney took a break from acting to focus on taking the S.A.T and completing her senior year of high school. During her senior year, she auditioned for and was accepted into the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) film and theater program. Prior to starting college, Whitney traveled to Canada to film "Moondance Alexander," a coming-of-age drama inspired by a true story.

"Moondance Alexander" ended up being her last acting job. After starting college, Whitney spent her time at UCLA focused exclusively on her coursework, and never returned to the entertainment industry. She graduated UCLA with a degree in political science, and went on to pursue graduate education and a career outside of California.
