In addition to working in film and television, Baylen has been a fixture on the New York stage since his Broadway debut in Henry the IV at Lincoln Center. Born in New Hampshire and raised in Northern Alabama, Baylen graduated from Auburn University. He received his masters at the Old Globe/University of San Diego Drama School. Baylen married actress Leslie Kalarchian in 2002. They have two sons. He appeared most notably in Tom Stoppard's epic trilogy The Coast of Utopia. He lives in Brooklyn, New York.
