Neshe Demir is a German actress and producer with Turkish roots. She is known for her roles in TV series and feature films such as Tatort (1970), Unter Freunden stirbt man nicht (2020), the anthology feature Strafe (2022) and the Netflix-Series Cassandra (2025).
For her lead performance in the drama Das deutsche Kind (2017), alongside Murathan Muslu, Neshe Demir was nominated for the Bavarian TV Award for Best Actress in 2019.
Besides acting, Neshe Demir studied directing at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne and completed her studies with the feature-length documentary Shanghai-Crab (2013), which traces the migration of the Chinese mitten crab through northeastern Germany. From 2018 to 2022, Neshe Demir worked as a producer at MMC Studios Cologne, contributing to international film and series productions such À l'intérieur (2023), starring Willem Dafoe and Vous n'aurez pas ma haine (2022).
