Oeiras e São Julião da Barra, Oeiras, 5 March 1949), patrilineal great-grandson and great-grandson of a first cousin of the 1st Viscount of Alter do Chão and great-grandson of a sister and great-grandson of a cousin of the 1st Baron of Brissos, and former wife TV presenter Luísa Castel-Branco (Maria Luísa Pires Pereira da Costa) (b. Santa Isabel, Lisbon, 12 April 1954).
  • Has two older brothers: António Mendo da Costa Caldeira de Castel Branco (b. São Sebastião da Pedreira, Lisbon, 15 January 1979) and Gonçalo da Costa Caldeira de Castel Branco (b. 26 November 1980).
  • On 11 October 2010, she gave birth to her first child, a son named Simão Caldeira de Castel Branco Pinto Soares. Child's father is plastic artist and her ex-boyfriend, Filipe Pinto Soares.
