Wrote most of Eroddity(s) 1 and 2 at his favorite writing place... the Starbucks in Disney's California Adventure.

Has worked closely with Sean Paul Lockhart on three occasions. They met when Steven's friend James Townsend asked him to shoot and edit his film "Kissing Darkness" Sean liked Steven's calm demeanor and asked him to shoot the behind the scenes of his new film "Truth" A few months later when Steven formed Babaloo Studios with his partner Ward Bodner they asked Sean to direct "Triple Crossed".

With lights, camera and sound equipment, Steven is often the only person on set other then his actors. This was especially true on his earlier films. This prompted his filmmaker friend Jonathan Lawrence, during an interview, to call Steven more a painter then a traditional filmmaker.

Although he has lived in two apartments and five different houses in his adult life, he has never moved more the 5 miles from where he grew up in Anaheim, California.
