Trevor's journey into photography and cinematography reflects a deep seated love and passion that began in his early years, experimenting with black and white stills photography and Super 8mm home movies. His extensive career is a testament to his dedication and skill in various formats, from stills to cinematography across different media; commercials, wildlife, documentary, music videos, on film and digital.
He has enjoyed working with local as well as international Producers and Directors, and demonstrates his versatility and ability to collaborate on a wide range of projects, but specifically narrative work: Feature films and TV Drama.
Being a member of the South African Society of Cinematographers, (SASC), since 1996, and winning numerous awards, including several SASC Gold, Silver and Bronze awards, a Loerie, two SASC Visible Spectrum Awards, and six SAFTA Golden Horn awards for Best Cinematography.
Moreover his extensive travels to 40 different countries have undoubtedly provided him with a unique perspective and valuable insights for his work as a Cinematographer.
