- Michael Stone was born on April 2, 1955 in Belfast, Northern Ireland, UK.
- Pro-British Protestant who launched a lone attack on an IRA funeral on 16 March 1988. The Milltown Massacre, as it came to be known, killed 3 people and injured 60. Responsible for the deaths of three other people, he was sentenced to 684 years in prison.
- Released in July 2000 under a provision in the Good Friday Agreement that released all prisoners convicted of terrorism.
