Originally from Mechanicsville, VA, CeCe Pleasants moved to NYC out of high school to attend the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. Quickly realizing she wasn't the next Kristin Chenoweth, she traded musical theater for stand-up and sketch comedy. She performed in various grimy clubs and co-created the acclaimed guerrilla theater series "Subway Soaps" on the 1-9 train in Manhattan. She was a little chaotic in her early twenties. However, this led her to her real passion, writing jokes, sketch, long form comedy, and even some drama here and there... for other people to perform. After moving to Los Angeles, CeCe focused on television and screen writing. Her longest tenure being with "The Late Late Show with James Corden" and on various projects with one of America's true heroes, Bill Nye the Science Guy. In her spare time, she passionately pursues macrame, first aid, doll collecting, and other lady-appropriate hobbies.
