Molly O'Connell is one of the newest cast members to join Season 10 of Southern Charm. In the first episode, viewers learn that she's close friends with Madison LeCroy, who introduced her as, "She's funny, and she's weird in a good way." She had a sexting relationship with Craig Conover, and has a crush on the much-older Whitney Sudler-Smith.

The Charleston native is also a model, and she was the runner-up in Cycle 16 of America's Next Top Model. Her season saw her having an incredibly drastic hair makeover that she, thankfully, pokes fun of to this day. Jason Ritter admits first acting job was a ‘full-on nepotism hire’ thanks to dad John Ritter
Image
Jason Ritter openly admits to benefitting from nepotism early on in his acting career.

Ritter’s father John, who died in 2003 aged 54, was known for playing Jack Tripper on the popular ABC sitcom Three’s Company.

During an appearance on a recent episode of SiriusXM’s The Jess Cagle Show, the Parenthood actor admitted his first acting job as a child, voicing the Little Acorn in the 1991 cartoon The Real Story of O Christmas Tree, came as a result of his father’s connections.

“I will say, without any hesitation, this was like a full-on nepotism hire. I will admit that,” Ritter joked. “He [John] for sure got me the job. I did try to stay away from that later.”

John voiced Piney, the Little Acorn’s uncle in the cartoon.

‘The Last of Us’ Star Melanie Lynskey Responds To Adrianne Curry’s Body-Shaming Comments
Image
America’s Next Top Model winner Adrianne Curry responded to a photo of actor Melanie Lynskey on Twitter, criticizing her appearance as unfitting for the post-apocalyptic TV series, The Last of Us.

In a deleted tweet, she wrote, “her body says life of luxury… not post apocolyptic [sic] warlord.” She later added, “where is [Terminator star] Linda Hamilton when you need her?”

Lynskey fired back, screenshotting the message before Curry deleted her tweet. She pointed out that the gown she wore was for an InStyle magazine cover shoot, something that looks completely different from her character on the show.

Firstly- this is a photo from my cover shoot for InStyle magazine, not a still from HBO’s The Last Of Us. And I’m playing a person who meticulously planned & executed an overthrow of Fedra. I am supposed to be Smart, ma’am. I don’t need to be muscly. That’s what henchmen are for pic.

‘The Last of Us’ star Melanie Lynskey rejects rude criticism of her body
Image
Don’t come for Melanie Lynskey on Twitter, because she will make you look foolish.

The actress, an Emmy nominee last year for “Yellowjackets,” eloquently responded to criticism of her physical appearance in a series of tweets that fought rudeness with reason.

On “The Last of Us,” HBO’s hit postapocalyptic drama, Lynskey plays Kathleen, the hardened leader of a resistance group that freed Kansas City from military rule. But according to former “America’s Next Top Model” winner and prolific social media presence Adrianne Curry, Lynskey isn’t physically fit enough to be believable in the role.

“Her body says life of luxury… not post apocolyptic [sic] warlord,” Curry wrote in a since-deleted tweet alongside a photo of Lynskey from a recent InStyle cover story. “Where is Linda Hamilton when you need her?” (Hamilton played svelte resistance fighter Sarah Connor in the “Terminator” movies.)

Lynskey responded with a cheeky tweet putting Curry in her place.

Melanie Lynskey Fires Back at Adrianne Curry After ‘Last of Us’ Body Shaming Tweet
Yellowjackets (2021)
Yellowjackets star Melanie Lynskey has hit back at comments made by model Adrianne Curry about her body shape in HBO‘s The Last of Us. Curry, a former America’s Next Top Model contestant, made the remarks in a now-deleted tweet, where she said that Lynskey didn’t make a good fit for the role of Kathleen, the ruthless leader of a revolutionary movement in Kansas City, Missouri. “Her body says life of luxury…not post apocolyptic [sic] warlord. Where is [The Terminator actress] linda hamilton when you need her?” Curry tweeted alongside a photo of Lynskey. Lynskey, however, did not let the comment slide by. Melanie Lynskey, who starred in the latest episode of The Last of Us as a ruthless warlord, has responded to criticism of her casting in the HBO video game adaptation.

The Yellowjackets star, who plays revolutionary leader Kathleen in the hit show, defended herself on Twitter on Wednesday (8 February), after America’s Next Top Model winner Adrianne Curry wrote that “[Lynskey’s] body says life of luxury… not post-apocalyptic warlord”.

In the since-deleted tweet, Curry also referenced the Terminator franchise, adding: “Where is Linda Hamilton when you need her?”

Lynskey then called out Curry for sharing a photo of her in a glamorous magazine shoot to make her point.

‘The Last Of Us’ Actress Melanie Lynskey Zings Critic Of Her Body Type In The Post-Apocalypse
Image
Melanie Lynskey didn’t appreciate criticism that she was a bit too zaftig for the role of a post-apocalyptic warlord.

Model Adrianne Curry made a tweeted observation (since deleted) on Feb. 8 that Lynskey wasn’t a great fit for The Last of Us role of Kathleen, a Kansas City warlord who apparently defeated the Fedra militia in that city. Kathleen is now after main characters Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey) after they tangled with her crew.

Curry, an alum of America’s Next Top Model, tweeted a picture of Lynskey and noted, “Her body says life of luxury…not post apocolyptic (sp) warlord. Where is (The Terminator actress) linda hamilton when you need her?”

Lynskey wasn’t having it.

This led Lynskey, whose character is a leader of a Kansas City-based revolutionary movement, to post a screenshot of Curry’s tweet, which was underneath a photo of the actress from an InStyle shoot. “Firstly- this is a photo from my cover shoot for InStyle magazine, not a still from HBO’s The Last of Us,” Lynskey wrote. “And I...

The show's current cycle will be its last, and the Dec. 4 season ender will be the final bow for executive producer/host Tyra Banks and her crew of judges, stylists, and makeup artists.

As of Wednesday, there are no official plans for when "Angel From Hell" might join the schedule, the same for fellow unscheduled comedy "Mike & Molly" which has been used to fill in the slots when underperforming freshmen sitcoms get pulled from the schedule. [Source: The Live Feed]

Tales Of Halloween Review
Tales Of Halloween is the latest contender to challenge Trick ‘r Treat‘s beloved status as “Numero Uno Halloween Horror Anthology,” and it’s an admirable effort at that. Opting for ten shorter stories from eleven different filmmakers, Tales Of Halloween plays like an old-fashioned radio show that would have been aired on October 31st for those souls who dare not adventure outside. This means each short only runs about ten minutes, calling back to The ABCs Of Death’s more challenging, rapid-fire structure. There are clear winners among these haunted efforts, but the likes of Darren Lynn Bousman, Neil Marshall, Mike Mendez, Lucky McKee, and other indie favorites ensure that their “October Society” rings in Halloween with ample thrills, gore, and good-natured laughs.

The shorts all share a connective bond, as you’ll see certain characters wandering around numerous entries, along with a host of famous faces who bring their cameo stamp-of-approval.

"America's Next Top Model" Returns -- But Where Are All the Past Contestants Now?!
Cycle 22 of "America's Next Top Model" premieres Wednesday on The CW -- and the show has seen quite a bit of changes since first airing 12 years ago! Not only has the reality competition gone from being all-female to throwing men into the mix, it's also had an All Stars season, a College Edition and a Us vs. UK throwdown. Tyra Banks introduced us all to the phrase "smize" as she also crowned 21 winners since 2003. But what have the winners been up to since their time on the show ended? The first ever "Top Model," Adrianne Curry, won the show's inaugural season but has since made a name for herself outside the modeling world. The now 32-year-old starred on the fourth season of VH1's "The Surreal Life," where she met future hubby Christopher Knight. The pair got a spin-off, "My Fair Brady," which chronicled their engagement and wedding preparations. The...

Bikini Awards: Claudia Jordan Makes Her Case Against Channing Tatum
Here’s another surprise in the 2013 Bikini Awards: Claudia Jordan, onetime Miss Rhode Island USA, better known to us as a Deal or No Deal model and Celebrity Apprentice contestant, has more rabid fans than Adrianne Curry. The 40-year-old stunner won the Reality TV division with a whopping 52 percent of the votes. Here’s something not surprising: Channing Tatum, reigning Sexiest Man Alive, defeated all the other guys in the mankini division with 47 percent of the votes. Now which of these will advance to the next round?

View Photo Gallery

Though Claudia didn’t advance past round 4 in both of her Apprentice seasons, she might have a good chance of continuing on here, since she’s been rallying her fans on Twitter herself. But we wouldn’t put it past Chan to flash us those Magic Mike abs, or maybe just a peek at baby Everly, to gain an edge.
