Biography

    • Trevor Miller is a British screenwriter, filmmaker, and author whose work the Sunday Times called "sharp and lacerating like a broken bottle." A graduate of the David Lynch Graduate School of Cinematic Arts, Miller is known for gritty, character-driven storytelling with a strong visual edge - rooted in his early years in Manchester's post-punk underground and London's acid house scene.

His cult debut novel 'Trip City' - originally published by sci-fi legend Brian Aldiss' Avernus Press and hailed by the Evening Standard as "an On the Road for Acid House"- was reissued by Velocity Press in 2022, earning a new generation of fans for its raw, youth-cult narrative.

Now based in Los Angeles, Miller has written original pilots and screenplays for both studios and independents, collaborating with talents such as Sylvester Stallone, Siobhan Fahey, and David Arquette. He has worked across genres, from high-concept thrillers to grounded character dramas, with experience developing projects at Franchise Pictures, Millennium, and Muse Productions - where he also served as in-house film/video editor and helped re-cut 'London Fields' (Billy Bob Thornton, Jason Isaacs & Theo James). Miller's directorial feature debut 'Riot On Redchurch Street - The Director's Cut' (starring Sam Hazeldine and produced by Hamish McAlpine) was released to major streaming platforms in the US and won the Best Director award at The 2025 Golden State Film Festival.

Dazed Digital described 'Riot' as "wildly cinematic like The Killing of a Chinese Bookie."

With a deep understanding of music, subculture, and the power of serialized storytelling, Miller brings a distinctive voice and decades of cross-disciplinary experience to contemporary realms of filmed entertainment.
