Rosita Londner was born in Warsaw, Poland. Being just a few months old, she and her family migrated to Argentina escaping from war. At an early age, she starts singing with her natural voice to later take singing lessons with one of the finest Argentinean teachers Alberto Mario Zecca.

In 1947 Rosita Londner was hired by "Mitre" Theater in Buenos Aires, where she performed together with other prestigious Jewish actors such as Dina Halperin, Mijl Mijalesco, Benzion Witler, Shifre Lerer, Dzigan y Schumajer, Jennie Lowitz, Meier Zelniker and many others.

In 1951 Rosita Londner met Herni Gerro, a talented Jewish comedian, singer and violin player, who will later became her husband and partner. In 1953 they got married and started to travel around the world taking their joy, music and Jewish humor to many countries and continents including London, Paris, South Africa, Scandinavian, Israel and the whole American continent.

The critics referred to the couple Gerro-Londner as "The stars of vaudeville and Jewish Music hall" and also added "their performance causes not only a profound artistic joy, but also an exciting Jewish experience for those who long for the past and for those who are seeking a national identity".

On October 17th, 1980 Henri Gerro passed away. Rosita, shocked by her husband's death, decides not to perform any more. However, later on Rosita affirmed that Gerro wanted her to continue acting. "The show must go on", he would've said to her.

From that moment on, Rosita appears from time to time in solo performance or other theatrical representations directed by herself. In 1995 she performs in the famous "Teatro Cervantes" in Buenos Aires in a play called "Los Gauchos Judios" where she signs a Yiddish song composed by Scholem Aleijem. Rosita performed in other plays like "Dem rebns tojter" in 1997, "Tzi Zinguen un Tzi Zugn", a memorable performance with the Orchestra of La Plata city in Buenis Aires in 2001. In 2004 Londner played a part in the award-winning movie "El Abrazo Partido" (Lost Embrace) directed by Daniel Burman.
