Brian L. Jones graduated from Bridgeton High School, class of 1992. Attended The Hussian School of Art in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, class of 1996. He received an Associates Degree in Specialized Technology, also attaining an award.

While in art school, Jones performed in several plays directed by a mutual friend. He subsequently took acting lessons for commercials and film. This all led to his meeting with filmmaker Brandon E. Brooks. They struck up a friendship, and soon after formed an independent film production company called SaintSinner Entertainment. Before his death, the company produced several short films including the acclaimed "Simply Untitled" and the horror feature film, "Acrimony".

Jones frequently collaborated with his friend/creative partner, Robert X. Golphin. The two produced several films together including "Insecure" and "Track Marks", which features Jones' final on screen performance.
