Afifa Mohsina Oroni was born in Kurigram District where she spent her childhood, School and College life. After completing her graduation in Media Studies & Journalism from University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh, she started her working life with journalism. Later she found interest in directing films. Now she is directing short films and single dramas for different channels. However, she loves writing articles, stories, and novels the most.
