Iku Zhang/Ikushin Cho, is a film director, screenwriter, and commercial director. She was born in China but was raised in Japan. She currently lives in Tokyo.
Her work has been recognized at indie film festivals around the world, such as Independent Shorts Awards (2021), Tronto Independent Film Awards (2021), Chicago Indie Film Awards (2021), and Osaka International Film Festival (2021).
Her first working experience in the industry was working at a Chinese feature film "Spring Tide(2017)" as the director's assistant.
Iku majored in Writing and Directing Film at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California. She enjoys every single process of filmmaking as a director, and is now devoted to making her own art film.
