He graduated from Iowa State University in 2011 with a Bachelors degree in Performing Arts (Acting/Directing) He moved to Chicago and began taking classes in Improv at iO Theatre after reading Amy Poehlers book "Yes Please" eventually dropping out to join Anarchy: an Improvised Rock Opera.

In 2016 Michael/Reza, released his first project under the name King Reza called "ways" Produced by Brad Kemp (whom he met thru Anarchy: an improvised Rock Opera) and featured the hit single "tear" He later began rapping under the name Super King Reza. He released an album with Jay Minor called "We Don't Have To Go NoWhere" (2017) which featured the music video "Instacoffee" (Mason Douglass)

After gaining momentum sharing his music on YouTube, Super King Reza made the top 200 for American Idol in 2017 a highlight was singing his song "tear" for Katy Perry and Lionel Richie two of his favorite songwriters (The episode was never aired.)
