Eric "Bizkit" Adsit was born in Pasadena, Texas, and raised in La Porte, Texas. He began his professional journey in the U.S. Army, serving first as an infantryman before transitioning into aviation. His outstanding performance led to his selection into the elite 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (SOAR), where he served both on active duty and as a contractor from 1999 to 2007.
After leaving the military, Adsit dove into a new frontier by graduating from The Ocean Corporation's commercial dive school in 2008. He then joined Oceaneering International as a safety diver at NASA's Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory (NBL). There, he supported astronaut training simulations and appeared in various TV documentaries shot on location at the NBL between 2008 and 2010.
In 2011, Adsit returned to Fort Campbell, where he trained Special Operations Command personnel in water survival, aircraft egress, and over water crash evacuation procedures. During this period, he earned a Bachelor's degree in Technical Management from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, graduating with a stellar 3.9 GPA.
In 2021, he transitioned to a role as a Safety Program Specialist, leveraging over 15 years of expertise in environmental health, OSHA compliance, and injury prevention. He is known for building strong safety cultures that align with organizational goals while reducing workplace incidents and enhancing training outcomes.
Outside of his safety career, Adsit has cultivated a growing presence in the film and entertainment industry. He has appeared in seven feature films, two TV documentaries, six music videos, and four online short stories. His on-screen roles span genres such as horror, drama, action, westerns, military, and law enforcement, ranging from background extra to lead actor. He has also written, directed, and starred in his own short film and contributed professionally as a camera operator, set dresser, writer, and director.
Adsit balances his professional pursuits with a passion for the outdoors-riding his motorcycle, taking on film extra roles, and embracing outdoor adventures. He resides in Dover, Tennessee, just northwest of Nashville.
