Nikhita Gandhi teams up with Ritabhari Chakraborty for music video of 'Time'
Image
Playback singer Nikhita Gandhi in her collaboration with actress Ritabhari Chakraborty for her latest music video ‘Time’, delivers a peppy, foot tapping pop-rock song laced with the feeling of a strong romance, which ended before its time, with two lovers wishing they had more time.

Talking about her song, Nikhita stated: “The song is a really fresh record for the soundscape we are surrounded with these days! I love the loopy earworm that the lyrics ‘Time Baby’ give. It’s sort of freeing and at the same time brings out the frustration of not having enough time.”

In the track, she collaborated with fellow singer Siddhant Sharma, who provided the male vocals for the duet. The two harmonise in the song, balancing and complementing each other’s vocals.

While Nikhita has a more modern American pop style side to her vocals, Siddhant has a rawer vocal aesthetic, with a tinge...

Video shows Chintan Rachchh of 'Class' fame rolling on floor to dub his scene
Image
Actor Chintan Rachchh, who made his debut with the streaming show ‘Class, recently shared a video from the dubbing session of the show. The video shows him rolling on the floor as his character on the screen gets a thrashing.

The scene in question is an integral part of the storyline where Chintan’s character of Faruq is arrested and beaten up for his sexuality. To enact the noises and growling sounds during that scene, the actor rolled on the floor as in the actual scene and dubbed for the natural noises that would come as he was being hit.

When asked about his experience, Chintan said, “I think that this is the bare minimum requirement for an actor to perform. I like making things real and believable, and when I was told to dub for the scene- it didn’t make sense to me to stand and dub for...

'Class' actor Chintan Rachchh reveals the epiphany he had on its sets
Image
Chintan Rachchh who is known as Faruq from the series ‘Class’ is excited about the season 2 announcement. Season 1 of Class left the audiences at quite a cliff hanger, while the killer is revealed, will he be nabbed remains the question. Faruq’s character is slated to take off to Sharjah, will he stick around for his love interest Dhruv or be missing from action? Season 2 has plenty of questions to answer.

In the meanwhile, speaking with the press, the young & talented actor expressed his desire to play a grey character, “I love how challenging it would be to play a twisted character like a Joe Goldberg in You. I get an adrenaline rush just to think about the mind games and the preparation that would be needed to convincingly play Joe. I am really putting it out in the Universe hoping that an Indian adaptation is made and I get to play Joe in it,...

‘Class’ (2022) Netflix Series: The Remake of Elite that Few Asked for
Image
The Spanish series Elite has its remake, in this case, from India with Class, a series directed by Ashim Ahluwalia who tells us the story of three students from a poor district in Delhi who go to study in an elitistic high school in town, with the subsequent conflicts, adventures and murders.

It comes with the same structure and in the telling of the story the same premise. It justifies its change (a fire that makes the three students go to the expensive high school) and transports the Spanish Class to India.

Lots of you might say that plot-wise, you would rather settle for the original version and as for boldness, you would surely settle for the original which knew how to make use of its sexier side. In Class we have more social inequalities, less thriller and intrigue and more social discourse.

As always, it is a matter of...
