Abigail is an over-the-top, gory horror movie with fun performances and a wild third act that may not be for everyone. The film features a solid ensemble cast, hilarious character moments, and a mix of ridiculousness and entertainment. Despite being messy and at times too ridiculous, Abigail is an entertaining ride that horror fans may enjoy for its unique take on vampire lore.
The next time you see an adorable ballerina prancing through the room, you might just double-take for your own safety after seeing a freaky movie like Abigail. The young star playing the eponymous persona in Universal's exciting new addition to the vampire canon certainly holds her own. Meet the dynamite Alisha Weir — or if you subscribe to Netflix, she might have already stolen your heart as another eponymous character altogether: Matilda, from the recent Roald Dahl musical adaptation.

Colony season 3 ended with Will and Katie preparing for a new war, leaving fans with major cliffhangers and unanswered questions. The canceled show's creators had a plan for up to season 5, but the USA Network decided to end Colony after season 3 due to high production costs. Cast members, including Josh Holloway, were disappointed as the show was abruptly ended without getting to fully explore the extensive future storyline.
The Colony season 3 finale marked the end of the series in 2018, though it left many unanswered questions that mean many of its loyal fanbase still revisit the episode. Colony starred Josh Holloway (Lost) and Sarah Wayne Callies (The Walking Dead) and took place in the L.A. of a dystopian future where Earth has been occupied by extraterrestrial invaders. Much of the show took place in a walled-off section of L.A., with human forces working for the mysterious Host aliens keeping strict control of the population.

This article contains spoilers for the ending of Lost.
Hiroyuki Sanada, star and producer of FX’s excellent miniseries Shōgun, is one of the most successful Japanese actors working in Hollywood today. English-speaking audiences have to come to know and appreciate the Tokyo-born performer through his roles in films such as The Last Samurai, Speed Racer, The Wolverine, Army of the Dead, and John Wick: Chapter 4.
TV nerds (including yours truly) had an entirely different introduction to Hiroyuki Sanada, however. For us, Sanada’s Western pop culture career begins with the final season of classic ABC drama Lost.
Despite what you may have heard about its ending Lost is one of the best genre series to ever grace network television. It also, admittedly, wasn’t perfect. And its simultaneously ingenious and infuriating use of Sanada in its sixth and final season is a perfect microcosm of the show overall.

When Lost was at its height, Idris Elba passed on the show in favor of a small and original IP. Lost follows a group of survivors from a plane crash as they navigate life on a seemingly deserted island and uncover numerous mysteries along the way. The show features several stars, including Matthew Fox (Party of Five), Evangeline Lilly (Ant-Man), Ian Somerhalder (The Vampire Diaries), and Michelle Rodriguez (Fast X).
In an interview with That Peter Crouch Podcast, Elba explained why he never ended up in the star-studded cast of Lost. Given the choice between Luther and Lost, Elba elected to return to the UK and create a franchise of his own. Lost continued on without him and continued to dominate the media landscape until and through its divisive ending. Check out his quote below, via Yahoo!:

After his quotes about writing for Lost appeared in a Vanity Fair book excerpt Tuesday, veteran scribe Javier Grillo-Marxuach doubled down via social media by sharing more of his experience on the ABC drama.
Grillo-Marxuach, who is described in Maureen Ryan’s Hollywood book as “the only person from the show’s original nucleus of writers still in the writers room in season two,” posted his own essay that he hopes will deter “future abusers.”
“If Lost is so great a work of art as to continue to be a topic of discussion after all these years, then it is cruel to expect those of us who were there to remain silent as to how the show was made,” Grillo-Marxuach blogged. “Lost succeeded because of the sustained contribution of many, many artists, many of them geniuses in their own right, and many of whom were treated quite badly and then...

A new bombshell Lost report details the show's toxic behind-the-scenes culture over a decade after it ended. Co-created by Damon Lindelof, Lost follows the survivors of a plane crash on a mysterious island with a large ensemble cast that included Matthew Fox, Evangeline Lilly, Jorge Garcia, Josh Holloway, Ian Somerhalder, Maggie Grace, Harold Perrineau, Malcolm David Kelley, Terry O'Quinn, Naveen Andrews, Emilie de Ravin, Yunjin Kim, Daniel Dae Kim, and Dominic Monaghan. Aired on ABC from 2004 to 2010, Lost was a smash hit over six seasons, though the show apparently suffered a toxic culture behind the scenes.
An investigative report by Vanity Fair spoke to over a dozen people who worked on Lost in various roles, many of them women and people of color, who detailed a dark and complicated culture. Perrineau, who was temporarily written off the show after season 2, clashed with the showrunners because he didn't think Lost respected its characters of color.

Harold Perrineau reconsiders Lost's divisive ending in a surprisingly positive way. Created by Jeffrey Lieber, J.J. Abrams, and Damon Lindelof, the series premiered on ABC back in 2004 and quickly became a hit. Following the survivors of Oceanic Airlines Flight 815, Lost explores the mysterious island they became stranded on and uses flashbacks to reveal more about their lives prior to the crash. Perrineau portrayed Michael Dawson, who was able to leave with his son at the end of season 2. However, he eventually returned to the island and was killed during an explosion.
In a recent interview with ComicBook.com about his MGM+ series From, Perrineau discusses the ending of Lost. He was originally upset with how Michael's story concluded and the show's ending as a whole. After some time though, the actor notes that he was able to acknowledge the kind of "ride" Lost was creating over the course of six seasons.

Warning: Spoilers for Avengers Beyond #1Marvel Comics has retconned once again the origins of the Multiverse by introducing a new all-powerful god called the Lost One, who existed "before the Omniverse". The Lost One is also responsible for creating the Beyonders, which not only changes again an important part of the history of the Marvel Universe, but also makes him the new strongest being in Marvel's cosmic hierarchy.
Avengers Beyond is the follow-up to All-Out Avengers, a mini-series that showed the Earth's Mightiest Heroes caught in the machinations of a mysterious, powerful creature who manipulated their minds and had the team move from one world-ending crisis to another. In Avengers Beyond #1, by Derek Landy, Greg Land, Jay Leisten, and Frank D'Armata, it is revealed that the mastermind is none other than the original Beyonder from Secret Wars, who was "training" the Avengers to fight against an upcoming threat that is coming for him,...
