‘WWE Nxt’ Review (Jun 10th 2025)
Image
Welcome to this week’s review of Nxt, right here on Nerdly. Let’s get straight into it and see what went down on this week’s show!

Match #1: Nxt North American Championship – Ethan Page def. Sean Legacy The following is courtesy of wwe.com:

WWE Evolve’s Sean Legacy put up an incredible fight, but the North American Title remains with Ethan Page. The Nxt Universe was firmly behind Legacy and he had the champion in trouble with his high-flying moves and his swift kicks. Unfortunately for him, All Ego is a seasoned veteran and promptly countered a 450 splash into a Twisted Grin to retain his title. After the match, Ricky Saints appeared out of nowhere and brawled with Page around the arena.

My Score: 3 out of 5 Match #2: The Culling def. Josh Briggs & Yoshiki Inamura The following is courtesy of wwe.com:

The Culling is down to...

‘Nxt: Battleground 2025’ PPV Review
Image
Welcome to the results and review of this past weekend’s Nxt: Battleground pay-per-view, which continues the “Battleground” branding handed down from the main roster, where the PPV started Ten years ago! Let’s see what happened on this much-anticipated show…

Match #1: Sol Ruca def. Kelani Jordan The following is courtesy of wwe.com:

Sol Ruca dazzled once again as Nxt Women’s North American Champion and defeated her rival Kelani Jordan in another incredible match. With Zaria watching at ringside backing up Ruca, the two Superstars traded remarkably athletic moves and shared a moment of respect before locking up again. The new attitude of Jordan paid off as she grounded the high-flying Ruca and targeted the champion’s knee, increasing the concern of Zaria on the outside. Both Superstars looked for the winning blow, as Ruca hit an Avalanche X-Factor but Jordan’s attempt at an Avalanche Poison-...

Image
Welcome to this review of Nxt: Stand and Deliver, right here on Nerdly. Let’s get straight into the review and see what happened this week on Nxt pay-per-view (Ple), which takes place as part of the WWE’s massive Wrestlemania weekend…

Match #1: Fatal 4-Way Tag Team Elimination Match – Gigi Dolin & Tatum Paxley def. Fatal Influence, Roxanne Perez & Cora Jade, and The Meta-Girls The following is courtesy of wwe.com:

A chance to contend for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Title was on the line as Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade, Fatal Influence, The Meta-Girls, and Gigi Dolin and Tatum Paxley collided in a Fatal 4-Way Elimination Tag Team Match. Perez earned the first elimination, taking out The Meta-Girls after hitting a Pop Rox on Lash Legend. Perez shockingly bailed on the match, leaving Jade to be eliminated by Dolin and Paxley, who used a unique pinning combination.

‘WWE Nxt’ Review (Mar 18th 2025)

Welcome to this week’s review of Nxt, right here on Nerdly. Let’s get straight into it and see what went down on this week’s show!

Match #1: Women’s United States Championship – Chelsea Green def. Sol Ruca The following is courtesy of wwe.com:

The Women’s United States Championship is staying with Chelsea Green despite a hard-fought battle from Sol Ruca. The Nxt Superstar nearly pulled off the huge upset, but Green’s Secret Slaygents saved the day, forcing Zaria to take them both out. In the chaos, Green nailed an Unpretty-Her and won the bout, retaining her title in the process.

My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #2: Josh Brigg & Yoshiki Inamura def. Hank Walker & Tank Ledger The following is courtesy of wwe.com:

Hank & Tank’s plan to be more extreme backfired badly as it cost them a win. Walker and Ledger had Josh Briggs...

‘WWE Nxt’ Review (Mar 4th 2025)
Image
Welcome to this week’s review of Nxt, right here on Nerdly. Let’s get straight into it and see what went down on this week’s show!

Match #1: Sol Ruca & Zaria def. Chelsea Green & Piper Niven The following is courtesy of wwe.com:

The young team of Sol Ruca and Zaria picked up the biggest win in their careers as they defeated Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green and Piper Niven in tag team action. Green and Niven dominated early on, but Zaria and Ruca slowly but surely took control with the Australian powerhouse launching Niven onto Green with a huge F5. That move allowed Ruca to line up Green for an awe-inspiring Sol Snatcher that gave their team the win.

My Score: 3 out of 5 Match #2: Jaida Parker def. Kelani Jordan The following is courtesy of wwe.com:

A raucous crowd bore witness to an incredible...

‘WWE Nxt’ Review (Jan 21st 2025)

Welcome to this week’s review of Nxt, right here on Nerdly. Let’s get straight into it and see what went down on this week’s show!

Match #1: Nxt North American Championship – Tony D’Angelo def. Ridge Holland The following is courtesy of wwe.com:

The Family still holds gold as Tony D’Angelo retained the Nxt North American Championship thanks to an unlikely assist from Izzi Dame. Shawn Spears, Brooks Jensen and Niko Vance hit the scene and brawled with Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo and Luca Crusifino, destracting the official long enough for Dame to crack Holland with a huge Big Boot. The Don won the bout and in his confusion turned to Dame who told him that they “were even”.

My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #2: Wes Lee def. Dion Lennox The following is courtesy of wwe.com:

Wes Lee was given all he could handle by Dion Lennox but in the end,...

‘WWE Nxt’ Review (Dec 19th 2023)

Welcome to this week’s review of Nxt, right here on Nerdly. Let’s get straight into it and see what went down in this episode…

Match #1: Fallon Henley def. Tiffany Stratton The following is courtesy of wwe.com:

Fallon Henley may have won the battle against Tiffany Stratton, but The Blonde Bombshell may be winning the war. Stratton looked like her usual dominant self showcasing her amazing blend of power and athleticism, but one roll-up from Henley allowed the country Superstar to score a major victory. However, after the match, an infuriated Stratton concentrated her frustrations on Henley and dumped trash on the helpless Superstar.

My Score: 2 out of 5 Match #2: Nxt Men’s Breakout Tournament – Lexis King def. Dion Lennox The following is courtesy of wwe.com:

After attacking Trey Bearhill last week on Nxt and being inserted in the Nxt Men’s Breakout Tournament, Lexis King...
