Deep started his media career as a back stagehand in theatre and was actively associated with the Mumbai theatre company called 'RAGE'. From there on, he got an opportunity to Co-produce a weekly series on Zee Tv and soon after that on Star too.
Whilst keenly observing technicians, Deep picked up the workings of famous Directors and later, effectively used them when he got the opportunity to direct.
To name a few films that were directed by Deep would be, TCS embedded systems, VFS Global, Mahindra United World Collage, SaatPhere, Jyoti, etc. After a stint in direction, Deep who used to write during his stint as a Co-producer, got an opportunity to be a part of the writing team on Balika Vadhu, Veera, Buddha, Kya Qusoor Hai Amla Ka etc.
