Biography

Courtney Crisfield is a versatile and magnetic performer on stage and screen of Australian/Croatian heritage. Her youthful and unique look easily allows her to embody fresh-faced, likeable characters whilst bringing the emotional depth, intelligence and strength from more than 10 years experience and training.

Originally trained in theatre arts, Courtney thrives in front of live audiences. Since 2011 she has studied and worked in notable theatre venues across Melbourne in lead roles of more than a dozen plays across most genres and festivals to sell out crowds.

In 2024: Courtney wrapped shooting as the lead female role of the upcoming feature film, 'Mutilation'. She debuted the comedic play 'Perpetual Stew' as a part of Midsumma Festival to rave reviews, completed a 10 week stage combat course with Captivate Action and debuted 'Piper', a new work at Theatre Works' main stage venue. Courtney was also cast in TVC and print campaigns across international markets for major name brands, 'Specsavers' and 'Qantas'.

In addition to acting, Courtney is an accomplished theatre-maker and creative. Her 2023 solo comedy show 'Cult Classic' for The Melbourne International Comedy Festival and was met with five star reviews. Through 2018-2021 she proudly completed 3 back to back contracts as a cast member of Universal Studios Japan in Osaka as a face character, show and parade performer entertaining thousands of guests every day with ease and enthusiasm.

Courtney enjoys long-distance running, baking, reading, gardening and is a passionate animal rights activist.
