Biography

Claire O'Connor is originally from Los Angeles, California. After attending the University of California in Los Angeles in the Performing Arts program, she moved to Tokyo, with a plan to train in martial arts for a summer. However, life took an unexpected turn when she was discovered by a recruiter from a model agency. Her modeling career evolved into doing other performance work, including voice acting, singing, and dancing, and involved a good deal of traveling. When she wasn't working, she did philanthropic work in refugee camps in a number of countries.

In Tokyo in the mid-1990s, Claire O'Connor became a pioneering entrepreneur by establishing the first online voice talent agency, Triple Sun. Her goal was to streamline the auditioning process. Navigating the challenges of a multicultural work environment inspired her to pursue a deep dive into psychology. Now, with a Doctorate in Organizational Psychology, as well as graduate degrees in Education, Health Sciences and Dispute Resolution from Touro University and Grand Canyon University, she is working on a series of print and audio books. She splits most of her time between Europe and Asia.
