The child of College Faculty and Professors, Maggie Moor was born and raised on the campus of Bard College in the Hudson Valley, New York. She is the proud great-grandchild of internationally known, Vaudevillian song and dance team Charlie Brown and Mae Newman. A New York based actress, she has built a diverse body of work in theatre, film, and television. Most notably Maggie in "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" at Studio Dante Theatre under Michael Imperioli's (Sopranos) direction, staged performance of Angela in "Stano," opposite Burt Young directed by John Avildsen (Rocky) at Studio Dante, and featured wife alongside Dee Snider in "Oh Come All Ye Faithful" Twisted Sister's Christmas in 2007. Theatrically trained, she is a graduate of both William Esper's and Stella Adler's 2 Year Conservatory. Maggie Moor is also a singer/ songwriter. Maggie Moor has three albums of original music available on iTunes and Amazon. Maggie Moor has been know record under the artist name Charmay, a family name derived from her Vaudevillian roots. Maggie Moor/ Charmay has recorded with Grammy legends like David Sanborn, Kenny Rampton (Wynton Marsalis), and Richie Cannata (Billy Joel).
