Justin Lacob

Justin Lacob is a veteran producer, executive, and content strategist, with a mission to entertain, inform, and move culture through innovative storytelling. Justin is Head of Development at nonfiction studio XTR and a co-founder of DOCUMENTARY+, a nonfiction streaming platform. Justin curates timely, important stories, overseeing nonfiction features, series, and podcasts with diverse perspectives from breakout filmmakers. Prior to joining XTR, Justin led Paramount Network's push into the documentary space, shepherding award-winning social justice, factual, and true crime series, including the Emmy-nominated documentary series, Rest in Power: The Trayvon Martin Story. And at Spike, Justin relaunched the network's scripted department from scratch, culminating in event series Tut, starring Sir Ben Kingsley. During his tenure at Paramount Network and Spike, he oversaw the development and production of a robust slate of over 350 hours of unscripted, documentary, and scripted series and specials for the network.
