He started his career in Television working as a writer on the CBS series Designing Women. He then went on to work as a Writer/Producer on the Fox series Living Single. From there he created and Executive Produced the CBS series High Society. After overall production deals at Warner Brothers, Sony Television and ABC Studios, he Co-Created and Executive Produced the series Partners on FX. As well, He has written the books to such Broadway musicals as '13 The Musical', Lonestar Love, Dame Edna; Back With A Vengeance, Dandy, and Moonshine, The Musical - based on the long running TV series Hee Haw. He has also written the Movie Musical franchise Teen Beach Movie's 1 and 2, Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure, and Good Advice.
