Left Germany with her husband to escape Nazi persecution, emigrating to the United States via England. Appeared in supporting roles in a few Hollywood productions, returning to Germany in 1948. Alternated acting on stage in Munich and Berlin with more frequent appearances in television, including guest spots on popular crime shows like "Derrick" and "Der Alte".
