Hilton's a great-great-great-grand-nephew of American revolutionary patriot Ethan Allen. Also second cousin of Bert Lahr, the Cowardly Lion of "The Wizard of Oz."

Director Robert Altman called Hilton directly to get story ideas for Altman's proposed TV show about the follies and foibles of the Silicon Valley high-tech elite.

Suggested that the producer of a quirky film double the P&A (the film marketing budget) after Hilton viewed an early print. The film went on to gross more than $600 million dollars worldwide. The film was Forrest Gump (1994).

While still in school, he stood in for actor/stand-up comedy performer, Kevin Pollak during a corporate event where he impersonated singer Michael Jackson in full Michael Jackson: Thriller (1983) attire.

Proposed the platforming of first-run major motion pictures over IMAX Corporation's Giant Screen Theatre Network, and introduced esteemed screenwriter Sam Hamm (Batman (1989)) to IMAX executives.
