Timothy Hines' 10 Days in a Madhouse was filmed in a closed mental institution in Salem, Oregon, the same location One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest was filmed. When shooting on location, Timothy Hines, cast and crew faced a 100 year blizzard and filmed much of the movie in an unheated closed mental institution in 10 degree weather.

In Timothy Hines' 10 Days in a Madhouse, Hines cast Sam Davidow as Jospeh Pulitzer. Actor Davidow is a real life distant cousin to the real Joseph Pulitzer.

Recently premiered his new movie, War of the Worlds The True Story on June 14th, 2012 at Landmark's The Harvard Exit Theatre in Seattle, WA. The Movie went on to play in event screenings at the Cinema 21 in Portland, OR, The Hollywood Theatre in Portland, OR, The Crest in Sacramento, CA, and on October 30th 2012, the movie played one night in theaters across America.
